As far as telling us "You have no idea" the DNA40 beta tester have already done that to us for months on end. So you don't get any prize there.
They won't say (yet). We weren't allowed to discuss it until today so I think "soon" based on the fact they told us we could talk about it now. I also don't know if they will make additional changes to the firmware I have.

My spools of Vape Mesh (Crazy Wire) Titanium Grade 1 have arrived, and are looking pretty good
The Spools
Clean Test - the spools are much cleaner than Zivipf, but they are not completely clean. Shown is the amount of graphite rubbed onto an IPA swab from the shown amount of wire (about 3 coils worth of wire)
Coil Test - the wire is definitely softer and less springy; shown is a coil around 3mm coiler, without any pre-pulsing/torching
So the wire still springs back a little - it's not completely conformed to the rod. But that's pretty common with most wires I've found. Pre pulsing/torching might make it even less springy. The most I would do, as I've started doing with twisted Resistherm, is first coil it and then pulse it as a coil and then tighten the coils after that.
But I'm not sure if that's even necessary - it's a lot less springy than the twisted Resistherm is. If I wanted a dead-on micro coil I might, but I'm starting to come around to the point of view that it's better to have little gaps, and it looks like with this Titanium I can get that first time without any pulsing, which is good news.
Overall I'm very pleased. It would have been nice if the wire was perfectly clean, but it's quick enough to get clean and most people clean their wire first anyway. In terms of wire behaviour, I'm very pleased - pulsing/torching is now definitely optional, and no longer required to quickly get a coil that holds its shape and is (nearly) micro/contact.
TCR and temp testing will come soon.
Edit: second coil, I held this one in place a bit longer and took a bit more care. Perfect micro coil, slightly larger than the diameter of the rod (ignore the messy bit at the start, just didn't bother to fix that up before photo )

i concur on the springyness. much better than the german wire in that respect! 26 and 29g here!!
