I was just messin around with my 510 after reading up all night on many many things...mostly DIY juice and 510 accessories. (Ordered my own DIY kit from MFS just now and a PCC)

-I squished the polyfill deeper into the cartridge so that when I added drops, it would fill to the brim instead of soak into the poly-fill.

Obviously, dripping juice right into the atomizer makes for a more njoyable experience...IMO at least..now, I'm looking a way to have this effect last longer than just the first buncha pulls. I noticed I sapped the juice that was in btwn the polyfill and atomizer pretty quickly...and was left with the usual resistive poly-fill crap.

Basically. I'm asking what's the best method to get the pros about the drip method while getting the long lasting smoking from a poly fill cartridge?

Thanks

Drip is ok but I do it at times but I also use carts allot. One reason its almost impossible to drip when your driving allot. I have found that I take the poly fill out of my carts replace it with green scrub pad material <I get it at the local dollar store it the green scrub pads you use to wash nonstick pans> I cut them about the same size as the poly fill seems to hold more juice and last longer.

Hello and Welcome to ECF. Funny thing about dripping. I never tried it until almost a year after I started to vape. Now I think of it as the lazy mans way. I do it all the time now.

Actually I have done both at the same time. Filled my cartridge up and drip to finish the process. I have found that it tastes better and also lasts longer. Good luck on your journey!

You're kinda always gonna have that trade-off with dripping.

I've heard of one mod where you just cut a small bit of poly filler material into a wedge shape. Fill your cart pretty close to full with liquid, and just plug the end with this little wedge of poly. It's enough to keep the juice held in there and somewhat control the rate at which it flows to the atty, but obviously much more space in the cart is available for juice instead of a full poly insert. Give it a shot.
