I have been lurking the forums for quite some time and finally decided to join the ranks. I started, as most, with disposable e-cigs as a means for quiting. After finding them lacking and along with a new vape store in my area, I moved on to a basic starter kit with a non rebuildable coil. That lasted about two weeks and I knew I needed more. I had been bitten by the vape bug. I ordered a Kamry 101 starter kit off of eBay along with a cheap, no-name dual coil rda atty. The atty ended up being junk and was almost immediately replaced with an Igo-W and a resistance tester. I used that for a while and as my coils got lower and lower and into the danger zone for the stock Kamry battery, it was time for some upgrades. I purchased a Nemesis clone, magnetic button upgrade, 2 Sony VT4 batteries and a Nitecore charger. At that point, I was using .8 flat kanthal and building dual coils in the 0.32 ohm range. Finally got talked into trying an RBA and went with an RSST. That is what I am currently using with SS rope and a large drilled out hole. Replaced the positive post with the silver coated one and have tried a few different wire combos. Right now I am using 0.8 flat kanthal again with good results. Running about .75 ohms. I have some 28 ga kanthal and 26 ga Nichrome wire on its way to play with. Also have an Otterbox Cigar Caddy on its way. I currently am vaping 12mg BlackBerry Dry Blend, down from 18mg. I am seriously into this "hobby" and will most likely be spending lots more $ on mods in the future! Just wanted to say hi and thank everyone for the wealth of information available on this forum.

Next on the list:

In - line voltage tester
EFEST 1600mah
maybe a better mod

scsuper...hello and welcome. I just joined too but have been vaping for 2 years. It seems that we all progress through the vaping to finally arrive at the mods and atty that suits us best. I hope I can convince people to skip over most of the garbage out there and try using the mods/atty approach as we both know it has more flavor and better smoke. See you around!

The vaping world is kind of difficult. There is always a "get what you pay for" factor but then there are also some good deals to be found. My biggest struggle has been finding juice that I actually like to vape! Oh, and as said, the growing "junk" drawer full of useless pieces and failed combos and parts. Almost a shrine to my vaping progression.
