Now am really considering getting a mod and am just attracted to Evic as it might be the only thing that can reach here

Things happen. Atties short, develop hot spots, etc. You have to be careful.

For me, my biggest step was moving from eGo batteries / Ego Twist VV batteries onto proper mods (many moons ago). My first MOD was the vamo (in my opinion the best value for money mod out there without a doubt) then onto many other mods and mechs and finally settled on my Sigelei.

In my experience, if your going to use a pro tank or any other BCC device, pretty much all DNA devices will be fine as you more than likely wont be building many coils below 1.2ohms. The Vamo has the built in capability to measure device resistance (even if its below 1.2ohms) but it wont fire anything below that.

For you, as a beginner, I recommend buying cheaper and better value for money mods before shelling out on something like a provari. Personally I like a warmer top coil device, I', not a big fan of cooler vapes from devices like BCC's but that's just one man's opinion.

Hi Ryedan. Actually, 1.5Ω is perfectly fine--Joytech even makes 1.5Ω atties that are meant to be used on eGo batteries. 1.1Ω is the sudden death.

Thanks for that info Katya. When I started vaping with the eGo-C system I bought some low quality (but they were such a good deal! ) LR atties. Both my 650 mAh battery and my 650 mAh Twist would shut down after using one for a while. Had to put them on the charger for a few seconds to wake them up. I figured out that the resistance was falling over time and they would shut down at about 1.4 ohms. I actually had one atty with a complete short that the battery handled the same way. Maybe my batteries are non standard.

I agree that Vamo is a great value and a solid mod for a beginner. You can get a Vamo V3 from Fasttech for under 40 dollars--free shipping. Just make sure you get the V3--it's much improved. Add a Nitecore charger and you're good to go.

Oh, and invest in good batteries. I recommend AW IMR (red jacket) batteries.

I feel your pain. I killed two brand new Rivas with one shorted cartomizer. In my early days.

You can't be too careful with those things....

Well I was thinking of provari but I don't think it can reach over here so considering the evic, beside from my short experience so far I love the mini protank they simply awesome since I don't like much heat, but I totally agree its a personal issue

Seriously, we can only offer our opinions. But that's all they are--opinions. You have to be happy with your device. If you love the eVic, get one. It's not a bad APV. Many people like them.

Thanks Katya, well I know and saw many reviews about ProVari and all saying its the best, regarding Sigelei some says it miss fire sometimes, Vamo is good as well and it does all what you want, well I guess what I will do is more reading reviews and will wait a bit 2014 is coming soon who knows what we will get I will survive for a while with what I have till I make up my mind or I might gone crazy if loved something nd just get it
