Question for Reo users,

When I push my bottle, I can see that the juice is coming up since it peers out of the four holes in the reservoir cup but something feels off because I get a dry taste sometimes and it doesn't seem to reach my atomizer unless I pump it. Am I doing something wrong here?

I understand that 100% VG juice takes a while to reach the atomizer, so sometimes I "press and hold" the bottle so that maybe the atomizer can absorb the juice but it works 30-40% of the time. This also happens when I use a 50/50 PG/VG juice but I've never tested it on a 100% PG juice. Thus, to get it to work 80%-90% of the time, I have to pump the bottle and sometimes it overflows into the reservoir cup if I'm not careful.

Any suggestions? is this normal?

At home I usually drip on top and so it's not much of a problem but it becomes a problem when I'm traveling. Also, this minor problem hasn't deterred me from loving my Reo Mini because it is still the best experience that I've had but I would certainly like to make it as efficient as possible.

Some details that might be useful,

- Cisco LR 306 1.5 ohm atomizer
- Boba's Bounty (100% VG juice)
- Reo Mini
- The tube is not touching the bottom of the bottle and is properly flowing the juice upwards, and there are no leaks (expect for the reservoir cup getting some juice in it occasionally).

Thanks,

- Louis

The 306's need to be wet all of the time. I like to squeeze and then take a little draw without firing to make sure the juice is fully sucked into the atty. (LOL, that sounds bad) Don't need to do that with the 510's, but I don't like them as well on my Mini. See if that helps.

I have to agree. If I use LR atties or a 306, I take a draw to pull up the juice, then fire and draw. works great that way. I do not squeeze the bottle again until all the juice in the catch cup is gone.

I had a similar problem when I first recieved my Woodvil. Turns out the tube between the top of the cap and where it grips the metal fixture there was a small space and the tube had a very slight bend (gap) to it. To use the word crimped as some suggested seemed impossible but I figured I'd try anything to not send it back to Rob to checkout so I removed the bottle...held on to the cap and pulled the tube take all slack so the tube leaving the cap was flush to the attached fixture and no problems. This may not help you and may have been unique to mine.

I know this may not make any sense, but I remember having a similar issue when my bottle's o-ring wasn't seated properly. This was from a couple of reasons. One, a certain juice (that I love) had caused the o-ring to swell. When this happened it no longer fit properly and was squished. Two, I had screwed the bottle on too tightly. This cause the o-ring to kind of ooze out of its spot. I remember having a terrible time getting juice to my atomizer when the o-ring wasn't placed correctly. Might help to see if that might be the cause. If your o-ring has swollen due to a juice, simply bathe it in hot water for a bit and then let dry. It should go back to its original size. Otherwise, just adjust the o-ring so that its in its right place, then screw the bottle back on firmly, but not too tightly. Keep us posted! :)

Thanks for all the input, I tried out what Linky said and it works 90% of the time (which is good) but it takes a little more effort, which I don't mind. I will also see about the 'O' ring thing during the next maintenance on my Reo. Actually now that I looked closer, the bottle is not straight and instead it seems as if its tilted a little in comparison to the cap.

Will keep you guys updated, and again, thanks.
