To solder or not to solder?

Ok so - long story cut short- The wire in the control head of my CVI 2 has become loose. I have the tools and capability to re-solder it. Just curious if I should even attempt it. I suppose, its broken - I cant break it worse, but I thought I would toss it out on here first - I generally do not solder electronics - I solder jewelry. I have a good friend with tons of electronics soldering experience...I was debating requesting his assistance also. But it appears to be a simple one quick spot solder fix. Anyone done this? Any and all advice welcome!

Yes you can re-solder the white wire back to the top. This is a common thing to happen to the CVI. when re-screwing the top back on spin in a counter clockwise about 3 or 4 turns before screwing it back on. and you should be golden. and your right you can't really break it anymore. lol
