Good stuff, thanks everyone. Thanks for the shipped PGA offer, Exchaner. I already dove in, with the purchase of a 5th of the 151 Everclear. So, I'll go with that. I appreciate the info though. As it is, I'll have a ton of the 151 left over. I may use it when I revisit NET extracting in the future.

After some of the suggestions, maybe the paste isn't as bad to work with as I thought it would be. I think I'll mix a smaller batch, and keep some of the Rustica in reserve, for adjustments, as necessary.

Just received a new order of a few Hangsen flavors, and fresh bottles. Rustica arrives tomorrow. The mixing lamp will be lit soon.

Thanks Danny. I have a couple 3ml syringes, a few 5ml, and a 1ml I found here. My youngest daughter is a vet tech in an ER. Sometimes in the heat of the ER battle, a syringe will end up in the pocket of her scrubs and wont be discovered until she checks her pockets before tossing the scrubs in the laundry.

She assured me they were new & clean. I told her thanks, because if I get distemper or rabies from vaping, she's going to be the first one I bite. ;)

Well, my 25ml of Rustica solution is on the shelf. I'm not going to sugar coat it. That is some vile looking stuff.

Is there a steep time (or half life) for it, before it's usable in a mix?
I like it shake and vape but as with all tobaccos it does improve with some steep time. Of course I'm usually adding vanillas and other flavors that benefit from some steep time as well.

There is a reason I call it the "black mix" lol. It looks like black pond water but it tastes good.

Don't judge a book by it's cover. It's good stuff. Start with 1 - 2% and work up. Shake it really well. The end result will be a light greenish cloudy tinge so if you thought it looked gross before it will likely look like green algae filled dirty pond water in a finished mix thats suspossed to be clear or amber but will taste great.

Yep, you described the appearance to a T, Danny. I may name this mix Old Aquarium. It looks like an aquarium, that's had a broken filter for 2 months..lol.

I overshot my targeted TA % and ended up at 2%. I was shooting for 10 mil test batch of 4% Desert Ship & 1% TA. I fiddled with the calculator amounts and was able to add some base (pre mixed PG, VG, Nic) and ended up with 3% Desert Ship and 1.4% TA. I ran out of headroom space in the 15ml bottle, at that point.

That will be fine for a test. I'm looking forward to giving it a try, tomorrow. I won't have an empty tank until then.

I'll post the taste results. Thanks for everyone's advice.

Even 2% is quite good. That's what I use in most of my mixes. And don't forget to net out the fish from that dirty pond before trying:)

Well I have the rustica and the PGA now to figure out how I want to dilute it down for me. I want to warm up this wee tiny 2ml bottle and dilute it all down so I think maybe the 2ml into 19ml of PGA and 19ml of PG? Since the PGA is better at cleaning the wee bottle out I am thinking pour the 19ml of PGA into a syringe (capped) and use it as a rinse. Any thoughts?
