Hey all,

Received my sampler pack today, which included Best Damn tobacco. Is anyone else tasting cinnamon with this? I'm not getting any kind of tobacco flavor out of it. It's likely just me, but was curious what everyone else thinks. I'm thinking that I may have received a mislabeled bottle, because the reviews on the website seem to think this is 100% spot on tobacco flavor. That's not what's in my bottle. :) I'm looking for a good tobacco flavor.

The other two, blueberry and vanilla mint, rock! The blueberry is a bit strong, but I can get used to it. I'm going to get hooked on the mint though.

Ok. How about this one.

Would it be normal procedure to steep the sampler packs? I assumed that since the sampler packs are all derived of the same configuration and not made to order (or are they?) that steeping wouldn't be required. I figured that the samples were likely taken from larger batches that were premade. Am I wrong in this assumption? Perhaps allowing these to age a bit would improve things? I'm getting a perfumy smell with the tobacco. Thanks all!

Hi moze229...a perfume smell almost always goes away with steeping. I know it's just a tiny bottle, but if you'll uncap it for 24 hours, the perfume smell will most likely go away. If you can stand to let it sit for another week after that, you should get that pure tobacco flavor you're looking for.

The samplers are pre-made, but when they run out, of course we make new samplers, and if they're bottled from a very fresh flavor batch, it will benefit from steeping. I suspect that is the case with your tobacco...so if you have the patience, hopefully you will be rewarded! :)

Thank you! I will remove the cap and wait a week or so.
