Tobacco flavor when mixing

Hello all,
Can anybody tell me what is the best way to get tobacco flavor when mixing your own juice? I have been poring all over the web and cant seem to figure out what it takes to make the tobacco flavor that is as close to the real thing as I can. Or is that just the way e-juice goes that newbs like me want the tobacco flavor but then after you vape for a while then you cross over to all the different flavor types.

To be honest your not gonna find an e-juice that tastes like cigarettes.I can almost garauntee that.You might find some that come close or resemble the flavour of what you feel cigarretes taste like.most E-juice suppliers that have a DIY section will provide you with any tabacco flavor to mix with.Totally Wicked has a good selection of juice also johnson creek.but like i mentioned Many tobacco flavored e liquids closely resemble a cigarette. But with so much relying on personal taste, It's best to buy a few and find what you like.

I have to second T Thomp on this, finding a true tobacco juice is a tall order. Now if you stop and think about it, is this really that bad? With cigarettes your "burning" leaves. Have you ever raked and burned leaves in your yard? I know I would always try to stay "out" of the smoke. The tobacco juices I have used actually have a flavor to them.

My favorite flavors seem to be tobacco and something else. Straight tobacco flavors are boring to me. Get a few more posts and head to the DIY section and folks will point out the way for you.

You might try the Perfumer's Apprentice Tobacco Absolute flavoring. It is VERY stout, but a good tobacco taste when properly weakened down

IMO, the best DIY tobacco flavors are FlavorArt. They're quite strong. Usually 2% ia a good starting point. They are fine by themselves, although I sweeten mine with 1% or 2 % Cotton Candy. I especially like Desert Ship, 7 Leaves, and Latakia.

Many of us evolve away from the tobacco flavored juices (semi-tobacco flavored) as we continue to vape and not smoke. What occurs some times is we start with the tobacco flavored juices and then slowly add some accent flavors to the tobacco flavors. As time goes on we vape less and less of the tobacco flavors and more of the interesting flavors available. For me, I lost interest in vaping a flavor that reminded me of what I was trying to get away from - smoking...

I bought some menthol juice didn't realize it was just menthol when I ordered. I used an essential oils extraction process to get some tobacco flavor (which alone was kinda nasty) then I found someone post about getting the smokey flavor by adding coffee flavor now I have a reasonable facsimile still a little too much tobacco flavor but really close for the first time.

This is great information thank you all for answering and the recommendations. I guess that I will be setting out on quite a quest until I settle on what it is that I will like. So far I have found some sources to try and I will let you know how they pan out.

I like the Perfumer's Apprentice DK Tobacco Base Flavor but I don't think it taste like tobacco it reminds me of the backwoods brew 555, it's good with a little bit caramel and a splash of hazelnut or mixed nuts

Closest I have been able to mix up is a combination of Tobacco Absolute, Tobacco Extract, DK Tab, Tabanon and Ethyl Maltol. For a sweeter and more spiced variation a few drops of cinnamon.

Must be honest though it has a nice 'pipey' feel to it, but it will never have true tobacco flavour. Difficult to simulate the taste of burnt leaves 4000+ additives.
