I ordered the seedman commercial (flavor enhancer) and few drops( like 5 to 10ml) was too strong for me!! I also tried the honey and captain Black but both were also super strong in the flavor.
and I read here that some are going after concentrate?? boy what I have will last me 2+years and I vape like 8+ hr/day
I also add PGA and water in addition to menthol base liquid to produce closest flavor to menthol ciggy..
truly grateful to Scubabatdan for the wealth of info provided..))

I also purchased seedman's commercial.
I mixed
25% 100mg nic mixed 50/50 PG/VG
25% VG
25% vodka
25% seedman's commercial
This is the mix I've been carving for months now. I do like it strong that's for sure. To me it tastes exactly like my old marboro lights. Now that I finally have my full time vape I can go on to some 5v mods. I've been collecting parts for some time now. I never would have found a diy mix without Dan. I'd have been stuck paying $1.00 per ml and shipping costs forever. Now I can move on to bigger and better things.

Just want to say hi and tag this post, as I am waiting to receive my first pv (hopefully tomorrow ) there is allot of good info here and I'm sure eventually I will want to mix my own, but I have allot to learn B4 that.

Just another couple of questions:

1) How much do you estimate your finished vaping product produced costs per ml? ( as I am very frugal )

2) I have read some time ago about PG and VG that you can buy from walmart but don't remember what it is called. (my head hurts from all the reading I have been doing in the past month)

Thank you all in advance for all your help and insight.

cost can be pretty expensive if you're searching for just the right taste. I think one should start out with some good juice say from DIYflavorshack or even totally wicked (or others). I've found that saving money on e-liquid is a misnomer as the
cheap stuff = cheap stuff. It really depends on what your tastes are and what PV you're using. So after you start to settle in with your new PV and you have ample supply of some acceptable juice (enough to keep you off the analogs (real cancer sticks), then move on to DIY mixing. Then I would highly recommend Scubabatdan's Excel v10 ejuice calculator . if you don't have MS excel you can download and use open office for free OpenOffice Suite - Your Total Free Office Solution.
I vape at 25mg (there abouts) so I find that my best zero flavor nic fluid 100mg/ml (cost wise & otherwise) to be from supertrkre2812. I can cut the zero flavor to 4 times the amount saving quite a bit (price is the best I've found also) plus I can depend on getting quality product. Just click on supertrkre2812 and go to the posts he's made, you'll find the needed info to purchase his stuff. This is where I got my mixing percentages (thanks Levy). So in reality nothing about this vaping is cheap and one can't be frugal until the get their set up to their liking.

Make sure to get USP grade

Glycerin questions a good post on vegetable glycerin. It will add sweetness & thickness to your mix. Can be purchased many places. Try using the search engine. If you purchase e-liquid from a good supplier you won't need to worry about glycerin until you start into DIY mixing.

propylene glycol a much thinner liquid that adds throat hit ( you'll know what I'm talking about when you're more into the vaping world). I'd have to search around to tell you any more on this subject and If I'm incorrect someone please jump in and correct me.

PGA pure grain alcohol adds throat hit and mixes well with things like menthol crystals ect.

Vodka throat hit and mixes will with concentrates (menthol etc.) tonic, grapefruit juice, cranberry, or neat if you prefer. Oh we were talking DIY mixing. Never Mind! You'll want as high of prof as you can get 180 190 somewhere in there.

So relax, get used to your equipment do some reading on this forum. When you're settled in then go for the cost savings and DIY stuff.

Thank you for the advice and the good info. I should be getting mine in the mail today. (can't wait) And it only took me a month to choose what device I was getting, LOL so I am pretty sure it will take me awhile before I am ready to mix my own. I am already nervous about the refilling cartomizer process.

it sounds like you've done your homework on what to purchase. I'm sure you've already studied up for the cartomizers . There is a definite learning curve to this e-cigs business so It will take some time. Just don't beat yourself up if you have an analog or two along the way. I see Dan has a cost calculator all ready to use. Always right on top of things, thanks Dan. so happy vaping to ya. Let us know how you're doing. One more big thing on the VG is it adds more vapor (the noticeable cloud).
