I just converted a 2 PAD Marlboro Light menthol smoker yesterday. I let him try 5 different tobaccos. He hated them all. I gave him a grape (DIY) and he loved it. He then tried strawberries and cream, loved that also. I use 70/30 PG/VG, great flavor and not too syrupy. Try it, someone on this forum said to even try things you don't really like. They will vape subtly different and it may turn out to be a winner.

I like these as my cig alternatives:

Vermillion River- Kentucky Premium
Liqua- American Blend
V2-Red

More of a pipe tobacco but still on the lighter side:

Liqua- Cuban Cigar, French Pipe

These are all dry, cig like tobacco flavors, not sweet and syrupy. My tastes are my own of course but I have to say the Liqua American Blend is the most cig like out of all of them.

If you don't mind waiting 8 days or so you can get Liqua less than half price thru Fast Tech. I've ordered 3 times from them this year, good vendor for Liqua and Free Shipping:

Yea...tobacco juice needs to steep...at least a week, longer is better though. I bought 5 different ones back when I first started...even after a week, they all just had a strong Caramel taste/smell. Since then, I've bought over 25 different flavors and have been vaping them..went back and used some of the original flavors after about 3 weeks..and must say, they are all fairly decent now.

You should face the fact now, that you will not find a juice that taste just like a real cig. If you keep thinking you will, you'll be disappointed every time new juice comes in. You'll eventually find some flavors that you like, even better than a real Cig. May I suggest buying up small bottles of different flavors...then, once you find that one that you really like, get bigger bottles.

Good luck!

You know you'll "Jones" for a bit when you go off stinkies...right? There's 1,000's of chemicals in them. I understand you wanting tobacco juice flavors, and the comments above (and below soon) will be great. But you have to tough it out. Vape more. Stay Mighty, Lou.

It won't last long. Vaping gets you through it better and keeps you off the tobacco better than any other quit method I know of (sorry..."switch" method). So...hang in there. It's all easy real soon. Make sure you vape enough to get enough nic for now.

Can't emphasize this enough. Once you get the "it has to taste like a real cig" thoughts out of your head, you'll find yourself discovering a world that has many wonderful flavors. I started off with 24mg ejuice to help satisfy my 1.5 pack a day habit. I've weaned down to 18mg after a month, and I'll most likely decrease that a bit more after another month.

How much nic do you guys recommend for a 1 PAD Marlboro Menthol smoker?

It varies by person...regardless of how much they smoked. So

Get 2 strengths ....like 12 mg and 24 mg. Or 18 and 24. Same flavor. Same PG/VG.

Then....If 12 is too low, and 24 is too high...you can mix em to 18. Or just use the 24 if that's OK, and keep the 12 to mix in little-by-little to future juice orders or for "emergency" situations where you run out.

P.S. It's best to start a new thread with new questions..... :) There's plenty of repeats in the new-member's area...so don't feel shy to start a new thread. :)

I tried a bunch of tobacco flavors as well, searching for that cigarette taste. I ordered online from a few places only to find everything to be caramel flavored. The best I have found that doesn't have that taste is Totally Wicked RY3 and RY4. I do a mixture of the two, 18mg on one mixed with 11 mg on the other, 50/50 mix and I am very happy with the almostsortakinda cigarette flavor. Good luck, don't give up!

I was a 1 PAD (sometimes a bit more) smoker..and even now, after a month, anything under 24mg is just not enough. Every one is different though. I bought some 18mg juices a couple weeks after I started vaping...but to me, it's just not enough. Then again...I didn't really start vaping to stop smoking...I just wanted a healthier choice to getting my Nic.

I've read on here that people who were 2 PAD smokers, saying that 24mg was just way to much for them. Take AttyPops advice...on your first order, get maybe 24mg and 18mg and try them out. You may very well think 18 is enough...or even too much. I just found that especially on the first week or two...when you are really wanting a real Cig...the higher Nic helps you (me) get through that better.

my husband is on his 3rd month of quitting and he will only vape, flue cure from Alien Vision and Cherry tabacco from Vaperite. He was a red marlboro man for years. He says he will try others later, has no interest in flavors, but is doing great and has not touched a nasty old cig. and am so proud of him. It will be 3 years for me memorial weekend and would never ever look back.hang in there it will just take you a little time to find what you like.

Tobacco NET eliquids will work well if you must simulate the taste of real tobacco.

net= naturally extracted tobacco (tobacco leaves are used in this process).

Many vendors have gotten on board with NETS. If I wanted it I'd google.....NET tobacco eliquids

Trying to replicate the taste of inhaling smoke from a fire is the tricky part in making it taste exactly like a cigarette.

In my experience, finding that perfect "tobacco flavor" is kind of a snipe hunt. You're not going to duplicate the taste of smoking. But that ends up being okay. You can find better. Much better. Though, yeah, sometimes it can be a pain in the neck. Sometimes, seems you hate every liquid you touch. Then you find that "ohmigawd" liquid. Something you might not have expected to like in the first place.

That said, if you care for VG only liquids, Johnson Creek has some nice tobacco like juices. Their "Domestic" is pretty good I think. And I don't usually bother steeping them, just some good shaking is usually all they need.

(I say "usually" only because I've run into a couple I kinda half like and thought I'd give them some extra time and try again. But my "regulars", I don't bother. Just a good shaking when they get here and shaking before I do a fill.)

my vote is the same. forget tobacco flavored juice. it is ok for starters, but the idea (in my opinion) is to get away from the taste of tobacco, and make the switch to flavors other than that. helps form the aversion to the taste of tobacco. after 73 days, i tried a puff from a friends vaporizer(tobacco flavor) last night. all i can say- yuck.
