One year ago today (2 days after receiving my Ego battery and Kanger tanks in the mail) I ran out of smokes and made the decision to not buy another pack. After 20 years of smoking up to1.5 packs a day, I am proud to say that I have stuck to that. I have not touched one cigarette since I made that decision.
I can't thank you folks here enough. Not only did you help me through some shaky moments in the beginning, but you've provided me with an incredible wealth of knowledge and resources, lots of laughs and continued support. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time being a member here. I do not necessarily thank you for the aiding and abetting in draining my bank account, but it has been a relatively small price to pay for my renewed health and this fun new hobby.
I firmly believe at this point that I am 110% "out of the woods". I cannot imagine ever picking up a cigarette again. I like vaping WAY better than I ever liked smoking.
In celebration, I will spend my evening rebuilding all of my coils and possibly playing with my brand new mech that will hopefully be at my door when I get home today.
