Tongue Feels Wierd

I've been vaping my new liquid all day and my tongue feels sore and like there are tiny somewhat translucent bright pink bumbs on it. Plus my mouth feels wierd too. Like I'm getting canker sores or something. What's up with this? I've never had this before?

Just cuirious, what are you vaping? PG? what Nicotine mg?.

PG makes my throat sore, so I switched to VG, which is soft and easy on the tongue/mouth/throat. .

I have MS and for whatever reason, certain foods burn/sting my tongue, especially if I haven't been drinking enough water, and get dehydrated, pg and high nic really stung,

I started mixing my own liquids, and switch to using VG and adding my own flavorings. This is soothing on the tongue and never burns.

As a test, I tried VG without flavoring, and high nic, and the high nic burned too. But if I use VG, flavoring, and high nic, it's a really smooth, friendly vape. lol.

(But I do know for certain, dehydration or a lack of B vitamins can also cause a sore tongue)....

PG tends to dehydrate, whereas, VG doesn't, atleast for me, and I know many others who have also experienced this.

I started today using 24 mg nic and about 55%vg/45%pg in cafe machiatto. I thought my cart. might be getting low so I mixed up another 1:1 ration increasing vg and decreasing nic. Should be 12 nic. and about 75% vg.

I've been vaping for about 1 1/2 weeks, though not steady and some days more than others. Used mostly all vg but occasionally all pg because it had more nic in it. I didn't have a problem I didn't really care for the pg, though.

When I vape now I can definetly feel it aggravating those areas, so I've smoked a couple cigs just to give it a break.

PG will do this, and usually doesn't show up for a day or two,

Several people have an allergy to pg or can't handle it, like myself, and switch to VG for this reason,

There are places that sell VG e-liquid, some call it (non-pg), but that's what it is, is Vegetable Glycerin. In case you don't want to get into the mixing, DIY, thing.....

I feel your pain, Shannon! OUCH! I just went through a bout of this last. I think my problem was switching to more VG in my juice combined with eating too much salt and not drinking enough liquid and vaping way too much. In other words, in my case, 4 things aggravating my mouth. I started drinking more and cut the salty food and now the tongue bumps are gone. Boy, they sure do hurt though, I guess those are swollen and irritated taste buds causing all this pain. I also cut down on vaping somewhat, going several hours between vaping sessions. Don't know if this will help you or not, but this is what worked for me to get rid of this.

I had been vaping all PG with little problem but when I ordered TV I had him add 10% VG. I've had a terrible problem with sores in my mouth and my tongue burning. I didn't think 10% would kick up any possible allergy but it did. I found out when I dripped pure VG on an atty and took a couple of hits. Immediately my mouth was on fire!! I rinsed it, drank a big glass of water and vaped some 100% PG and the burning subsided. So I'm fairly certain my reaction is to the VG.

Now I have 6 bottles of TV's 10% VG that I can't vape! :( Can you imagine having to vape something else after having TV?! It's not fun!! It sure made me appreciate just how good Geoff's juices are!

German Choc Cake, Dulce de Leche, ATF, Blueberry Cheesecake, Cafe Macchiatto, and Butterfinger.

BUT... I'm not quite ready to give up on the 10%. I ordered some 100% PG from TV and I'll use that for awhile then try again. LOL

Last night I tried to vape another supplier's PG and it was horrible!! Left a nasty film in my mouth that I don't get with TV! I tell you, I'm hooked on Geoff's juice!
