Tongue Piercing and Vaping

I've noticed that when I'm vaping my tongue piercing seems to get irritated. It doesn't hurt, it just feels funny. Has anyone else experienced this?

Do you know how much PG is in your juice? You might be a bit sensitive to PG. My tongue stings if I vape too much PG, kinda like when I eat too many sour patch kids.

Can't say I have experienced this at all. Might be the type of juice you are using.

I'm using carts from V2 right now. I just ordered an eGo-T and some juices from virginvapor which, from what Ive read, have either a lower PG to VG ratio or are 100% VG.

My piercing is fine. I understand the sour patch thing.. That happened to me from a couple juices. Something in it irritated my tongue, so I stopped using those. Still unsure of what.

I vape full PG and I haven't noticed any irritation with my piercing. I do vape menthol though, and be it from full PG or full VG or a blend of the two, the menthol does make my tongue tingle.

Judging from their ingredient list (v2_ingredients_list830.pdf), their juices are pretty high PG juices, one as high as 90%.

Personally, there's no way I'd be able to vape these juices.

I havent run into any issues yet with my tongue bar, although I have had it for going on 14 years ( MY GOD! I just realized that makes me old.. ) , although I do remember using some ice drops my 4th day after having my tongue pierced, I dripped it just right the drop of breath freshener hit the top ball and rolled down the bar and off the bottom ball under my tongue...

...yeah, that was a weird feeling.

Have you tried intaking more water ?

I know that when vaping I've had to do it myself or my whole mouth & throat get dried out and sensitive.

V2 juices are harsh and wretched...its probably your piercing telling you to stop.

I now have a plethora of juices in stock and no more sore tongue piercing! Yay!
