Hi again guys,

So I just ordered six more flavors of liquid but they won't be here for a while (up to 10 days) and so, to continue vaping for that time I only have the one bottle of liquid I bought when I bought my kit. It's supposed to be "menthol" but I would describe it as "hit-you-over-the-head-with-a-sledgehammer-mint-mint-MINT!!" But I guess that name was just too long for the bottle lable. LOL

Anyway, bottom line, it's just too much.

When I got my 901, I recieved 5 different sample flavor carts, and I found that putting a couple drops of the "menthol" in the chocolate flavor cart made it a nice smooth "hint-of-mint" flavor, more like menthol.

I was searching through the recipes threads to see if there was an easy way I could simply mix a little chocolate food flavoring into my menthol liquid but all the recipes seem to involve many parts and are a bit overwhelming fora noob like myself.

So (finally) my questions are these:

Would it be possible just to pick up some VG from Hobby Lobby, some food flavoring (LorAnn??) from Wal-mart, and basically just make a "flavoring" mixture that I could kind of 'cut' my menthol liquid with?

I don't care about reducing the nic content or the fact that mixing it would do that. I just want to make the menthol flavoring a little toned down so I can use it for all day vaping until my new liquids arrive.

I don't want something overly complex as I'm not actually trying to make my own flavor, or my own juice, etc. I just want to be able to vape again - I went back to my analogues last night when there was absoutely no other flavor left but the menthol liquid, all other sample carts have now been used up.

Or if the VG/flavoring idea won't work, could someone give me another suggestion as a "get by" until my new liquids arrive? That over-the-top mintiness is just too much for me, especially with morning coffee or just before bed. Can't do it. :nah:

I didn't buy a bunch of liquids to start simply because I didn't know if I'd like vaping, AND because I figured, if I did like it, I'd still ahve a whole bottle of 'menthol' to use while I ordered more. ~sigh~ My plan is simply not working out so hot at the moment.

Thanks for any insight you can offer here.

This sounds like your best bet to me. VG tends to mask flavors when used in quantity so you may not even need the extra flavoring. (Although menthol is about the toughest flavor to cover up, sorry to say.) Just keep in mind that VG is very thick, so if you use enough of it, you'll want to cut your liquid with something thin (distilled water or very high proof alcohol) so it flows properly.
