Volcano kit, Volcano Inferno (ego style) tank/Drip kit, Magma (510 style) Tankomizer, Volt, Echo.

The latter two will arrive this week, and it's only my first week of vaping. Now before you say otherwise, I actually prefer all of these for certain things cept the volcano kit, which is trash IMO.

I've easily blown 300-400+ dollars in my first two weeks of vaping. Am I alone? This stuff is pretty fun.

Phew. I blame this great forum and other resources.

You are hardly alone! Between me and my fiance, we have 6 Riva batteries, 2 eGo 900mAh, 2 510 batteries, one Chameleon mod, one Indulgence and one 801 Nomad. A couple of the Riva batteries are in need of replacing, so my fiance is thinking about getting an E-Power.

Plenty of other members have WAY more mods than I do. They're true collectors!

I've only been vaping for about 4 months and I was shocked recently when I added up all the money I've spent on ecig stuff. It really adds up fast when you keep upgrading and have to have every new whatever that comes out. And I don't even have a true VV yet. It will take me I figure 2 yrs to break even if I don't buy anything in that time but that will never happen and I don't really care because my health is better and I'm having one hell of a good time with this new hobby.

When we start our intention is to vaporize a liquid containing nicotine to simulate smoking in a healthier way. It usually doesn't take long to figure out your $$ is also being vaporized.

Relax and enjoy. I used to spend much more on golf and once you find what works you will either start saving money or have a lot of really cool toys and flavors to play with.

I guess it is hard to say "vaping is so much cheaper than smoking" when you enjoy playing with the technology to the point of where it's a hobby :p I've dropped just over $100 so far in the past week, but it would be $1000 if I could afford it. I'm going to start my mod-making career coming up very soon so I don't think my costs are going to dip all that much for this. But hey, it's a hobby at this point. Lighting things on fire is an archaic practice not worthy of a lot of brain power when compared to the complexities of a coil, battery, microprocessor, cartridge etc etc.

It's still possible to have it cheaper than smoking, but where is the fun in that?

Famous last words, but I *think* I'm pretty close to finished shopping - we'll see in a couple weeks :D

Got the analog lookalike off the site with the fake reviews that's pretty useless (although drilling out the carts made it useful for dripping), am using a 510XL with cartomizers now (good starting point but need a little more vapor and a lot more battery life) and have an 1100mAh eGO-T kit on the way from China. If that doesn't work at least I'll have the power problem solved and all I *should* need is a couple of drip tips, a couple of cones and a box of LR cartomizers.

Until the next Really Cool Thing comes out, that is :D

I got he Volt starter kit w/3 bottles of RY4 and a 5-pack of 555 12mg cartomizers.
Then I ordered some interesting looking juices.
Then I ordered some more blank Volt cartos, some pre-filled cartos, 3 manual batteries, the new mega PCC, and some more juice from smokelessimage.com
(SI is based out of my home state and their shipping times to the border of Iraq have been 7 days...yeah, I'm sticking with them)
Then I put in an order for a MonkeyboxxVV for use in my little desert shack. Of course that means a couple of atomizers and some more juice.
Then I figured, "what the he11" and ordered a G6 kit just to compare it to my Volt and to have a ready standby kit for emergencies just in case the Volt goes wonky (hey, it IS the border of Iraq! Things tend to fall apart out here!) and to keep in my bug-out bag.

So yeah, once you get into this you CAN blow a lot of dough and wind up with many kits. But for now I think I'm good. Of course, I'll still be buying juices to try.

That's all,
BE112 starter kit, also two extra batts, attys, and carts, then 6 10ml bottles of e-liquid
DSE901 starter kit, also two extra batts, attys, and carts, then 3 10ml bottles of e-liquid
Janty Stick kit, also two extra batts, attys
M401 kit, also two extra batts, attys and some more juice and carts
and then e-liquid from several different places.

It was a good thing everything arrived on friday and saturday so I could spend the weekend trying to figure out what I'd gotten myself into.

When I first started looking into ecigs, I was cost conscious. I didn't want to buy something that was going to cost me MORE than smoking did. And that mindset did prevent me from making a Greensmoke mistake - I could not fathom a $40 or $50 replacement battery, so ended up at ECF and info on much better and less expensive options.

However, in the month I've been vaping, I keep buying more stuff and find that I just do not care that it's cost me lots of money to get started. Part of it is that I feel like I am getting a lot for the money - lots of supplies that should last a long time. And now that I'm all stocked up, the buying frenzies should taper off. Maybe. Heh.

The thing is, I like vaping and I love not smoking, and THAT is priceless to me. Switching to vaping has been a fun, happy experience rather than the horrible experiences I've had when I tried to quit smoking in the past. I feel good about it! So the money issue has become a non-issue for me.

I started with a S51 kiosk kit - $140 with extra juice. Of course the guy told me I would be good for 3 months and not knowing any better fell for it. But I was off analogs and happily vaping. Other than the carts holding about 3 drops I was happy with the performance. Of course I ran out of juice in about 51/2 weeks and had to have some shipped to Belize. So I figure with and cot another 510 pcc kit with manuals and some cartos to try. $80 which turned into $110 after I finished bending over for customs here.

Son now with opportunity of family and friends meeting me in Mexico for my wedding lets stock up. over 200 ml of juice and a bunch of atty and cartos I'm good. Riiiigggghhhtttt. I made the mistake of looking at a GLV2 SM in the classifieds. So pretty and shiny and now it's mine. Ooops, now I also need the batteries and charger. Wait everyone says to try E2's with a mod so lets get some. Well better get some LR attys and cartos just in case too. I can't even bring myself to add everything else up now.

But I should be VERY happy in a couple of weeks when I get my hands on the new toys and flavors.

Been at this , maybe a total of three months , to date , I've spent over 1000.00 . But you know , I don't really care , because one , I can afford it , two , it's way better for my health . And three , now I get to shop , like my wife usually does . Wait till you get into the pricier mods . Then you can talk , spending a lot of money . As long as your having fun , and still manage to make your mortgage payments .
