Hiding up a tree
I was just wondering if anyone else finds that with their rda they get too much flavour?

When I say too much, I mean that initially (the first toot/vape/hit/draw) is a full on smack in the mouth of flavours, so much so that after that first hit the flavour seems to drop off.

I am thinking this could be due to tastebuds being overloaded and therefore shutting down and no longer being receptive to the same stimuli.

Currently I am using a Magma rda (clone). I have tried all sorts of AWG Kanthal and coil sizes, but still this seems to happen regardless of my setup.

Any thoughts on this?

Would getting a less 'flavor chasing' rda help matters?

Anyone else in the same boat?

Kahnighit, sadly I am using a mech...

Currently (no pun intended) 0.5ohms 22AWG single coil, have been down to about 0.35ohms dual with higher gauges.
I have a VTR which does not cut the mustard for a dripper, works fine for my Kayfuns though, and for building up the muscles on my vaping arm.

Maybe a regulated 50 or so watt device should be my next purchase. (after a pontus and an orchid v2 clone).

So, HuskerCal, do you find it happens less with less flavor chasing drippers? (more of the cloud variety or whatever) Or all pretty much the same?

I was hoping that getting a Pontus would be a step in the right direction, it using a Tobh deck and all which is not renowned for flavour.

The cutting the juice with VG sounds like a great plan. Cheers for the idea :)

I will have to try that out as soon as possible...

If you've got some leftover glass bottles, I would recommend Adding a little at a time until you figure out how much will get you to a happy place. There is a little bit of trial and error, and it's a little different from liquid to liquid. Good luck!
