I think everyone starts the wrong way! We didn't know what we would like, tried things, failed and succeeded, and got oodles of help from the wonderful members of this forum! Good luck to you! I just feel the need to break into song...Happy Vapes...To You....Until we meet again!
Steep learning curve with this lol. great site for information.
too many temptations on juice buying! and VV mods for home! AHHHHH well I figure i spend about 200+ on analogs i spent about 170 so far on vape start up... i just need to go a month and buy more juice always need more JUICE, i should have just made my name juicemonster or something equiv. I really am waiting to be amazed, i feel like all i need is a good juice.Woohooo! Welcome to ECF & congratulations on your decision, & a double-congrats on your enthusiasm! Sounds like you're off to a roaring start there.About the only suggestion I would offer (and I don't expect this would have done any good if anyone had offered it to me) is, take your time & get to know your gear. Try to be as patient as possible with yourself. Oh, and prepare to be amazed, in case you're not already thus prepared (you probably are). Also, remember that everything you learn on here for free is something you won't have to pay to learn out there in the marketplace, so keep on reading all you can about everything that interests you. Best of luck, & Happy vaping!

Welcome to the ECF colossalK! Looks like you've done some extensive research over the past couple days! You have made some good choices there as far as your orders go, Vermillion has a pretty loyal following for their tobacco flavors and Boba's is well, a pretty big favorite amongst many vapers here. I haven't had Vermillion yet as I found out I am not a tobacco flavor vaper but I have heard nothing but good things about them!
I've had Boba's it's more like a honey graham cracker to me, and I love their Gorilla Juice. Ave is an excellent vendor. Now you have to find out what your personal favorites are as taste is so different and varies quite a bit from person to person.
I would recommend checking out Highbrow Vapor, Nite Lite Vapor, and Vape-A-Licious (if you ever get in a fruit or dessert mood VAL is awesome) as far as juices go those are my faves.
Good luck in your journey and remember the most important thing is you're not smoking stinkies anymore!
Really trying to dial in on my personal favorites because alot of juices sound delicious, so i ordered a bit of everything so i can taste my preferences.
Welcome to ECF! You've jumped in with both feet so you sure won't run out right away! It looks like a great start and cartos are the way to go. The only things I'd suggest is to make sure a carto is fully wet the first time you use it so you don't get a burn in the filler and remember to puff into your mouth like a cigar, then inhale. Many of us started by hitting these like a cigarette directly into our lungs and that burns. Also always carry a spare battery and juice just in case. I hope you have fun with your big juice party!
my juice party is growing, i bet i have a box filled with random juices before the end of winter.
One tip I'll give you...if you don't like a juice when you first try it, sit it aside for a couple of weeks and then revisit it. Majority of juices are made fresh to order and need to steep. A cool, dark place away from critters and munchkins will do.
Also, when filling a cartomizer, let it sit for 20 minutes for the juice to settle in it. Don't vape it right from the get go or you might burn the filler. A new Boge will take 25-30 drops to fill. It should look slushy on top but not pooled up. After 20 minutes, gently blow throw it into a paper towel, wipe the threads off, screw on battery, and vape away. When the first sign of flavor or vapor dropping off, refill until slushy again. Don't let it run dry.
Welcome to ECF and enjoy.
man oh man I've read a LOT in the past few days, i did read about steeping as well thank you for the tips, my cartos are in the mail and hopefully I'll have figure them out with all the helpful info here.
Congrats on your decision to drop cigs! I was a one-half to a full pack a day smoker for 7 years. It only took me 2 days of vaping to completely free myself of what we call "analogs" and by the 4th day, cigarette smell make me sick.
It can take a while to get used to all the terminology. I'm still baffled! I've been vaping for just about a month now.
Keep us posted on your progress and what you think of your new gear.
Also, I think it's great that you ordered more than one battery. I started with just one and when it needed to be charged, I ran out and bought a pack of smokes, I knew I wouldn't make it 3-4 hours! But now that I have 2 batteries (and a 3rd on the way) I'll always have one charged and ready.
after vaping i dont like the smell of analogs either, the taste is becoming gross, i always think back and wonder why i did it for so long... i do have 2batts, 900mah thinking about getting a pass through or a box mod maybe something with VV, i just need to pace myself. plunged way more then i thought i was lol, thought i would spend a hundred ends up being nearly twice that.... who knows by the end of the week it might be well past that.
Welcome to the ECF! Others mentioned some great places for juices. My personal favorites are The Vapor Room which has a great flavor Espresso (noticing you like the coffee direction ) and Tasty Vapor another one, is Halo E-Cigs their Torque 56, Prime 15 and Smooth 8 are great. I have only learned so I can agree with Warren, that having an atty is a great way to "test" the juices before wasting a carto!
I know what you mean by it makes a man do crazy things! There is soooo much you want to try and do, but be patient and take your time! If you get frustrated at any one point ask for help here on ECF, the people are nice and helpful! It's great to have members that are like this!
So welcome to the world of vaping, and Happy Vaping!![]()

i really am having fun, even though its draining my bank accountI was in your same place a couple of weeks ago. Went through quite a few cartomizers trying different flavors and even got them all mixed up once and didn't know what flavor they were. That made for some interesting combinations when topping them off with new juice. I had the same equipment as you and vape at work. Two batteries were required for me to make it from morning till night so use one and charge the other. I also found a couple juices I can vape all day long so settled into a tank and carto setup so I don't have to refill at work. This also lasts me all day long. At least that is this weeks setup, who knows what next week or next month will be. Main thing is have fun with it. Good luck!
I'm looking for an all day vape before i get a tank but its HIGH on the list of things to buy.
thanks, problem is i want to get there fast lol.Congrats on the first step man. You'll get there. Don't worry.
Yep, don't beat yourself up, it'll take what it takes so be patient with yourself. Count every little victory or the perceived defeats will stare you down. And don't forget the BIG victory: your decision to jump into vaping in the first place! You're on a roll now so don't let negativity set in and convince you it's just a soda cracker.Happy Vaping, after patiently waiting!

I have Boge cartos being shipped LR and SRCongrats and welcome to ECF! Make an effort to drink a lot of water as vaping takes moisture out of you. I didn't know that when I started a got a little dehydrated. Now I drink 2-3 quarts a day. Don't give up on RY4s- they are not all similar. I have one I can hardly stand and I love the one I got today from IkenVape. As for cartos, I find myself liking regular resistance, single coil cartos for a better flavor- maybe give them a try sometime (Boge, Kanger horizontal coil, Ikenvape). It is a journey and ECF makes it enjoyable. Cheers!
been going like a racehorse from drinking so much water.
i wish there was a way to taste juice so i know what i like
and to everyone on ECF thank you for the warm welcomes!
