Now I know I've been out of the loop for a bit but if someone calls me a "Tootle Puffer" to my face, I dare say I'll be breakin' out the pimp hand! Who in the world came up with this moniker? I knew at some point "lung-hitters" and "mouth-to-lungers" would have to be replaced with something, but eeeesh...that sounds offensive and disgusting at the same time. Couldn't we have come up with something better?

It started out a little over two years ago as the dumbest insult in history. A chaser chimed in on a discussion of older gear and referred to the participants as "Tootle Puffers". Not realizing calling people "leisure vapers" was not actually an insult, laughter ensued. Words were exchanged, taunts were flung. It was funny.

A tootle puffer is basically the opposite of chasers, people who are looking for the latest-greatest. We
shop in a leisurely way, vape how we want, enjoy a sunny day on the porch.
The Modwompers thread was started as a middle ground. Thus the term "Modwomper" is a play on words based on the old term "Mugwumps".
