OK, here's the deal, get ready for a long one....

I have wanted the Hadaly rda since it came out and I'm ready to pull the trigger on one. Since it comes with a squonk pin, I really want to give that a try as well so here's my dilemma :)

do I:
1) drop the big bucks for a Therion DNA75 Squonker? I currently stick pretty much with my Kabuki's at a modest 12 watts. I've used temp control with my hcigar VT200/KF5 combo but for the most part, that sits on my shelf.

Or:
2) go for the 26.00 buck Pico Squeeze. Since the Hadaly is a single coil RDA, I see myself using it with a .8 ohm 28ga round wire build.

95% of the time I'm running my Kabuki's with various DIY menthols but I do enjoy an occasional bakery juice that I think will do great in the Hadaly with that build.

What do you guys think? I'm not a fan of real big mods so I'm leaning towards the Pico. I have many mechanicals and went many years running unregulated so I have "the science" down pat. Just not sure of the quality/reliability of the Pico.

I think your answer is there :)

Heck, at $26 for the Pico, you could get the DNA to keep as a backup device

Personally, I would go with the Kanger Dripbox2. I gave away one of the Pico Squeeze, the TC on the Dripbox 160 is weird at best. Slightly larger than the Dripbox 2 , CoV Wraith, I really like that one.

Yup... for the $, the Dripbox 2 can't be beat. You can even go play around with the software kinda escribe-like...

I have the Dripbox 1, the Dripbox 2, the Dripbox 169, a Frankie, the Kangxin Inoy, and the Movkin Disguiser in squonk mode.

What happened with your Dripbox 2?

Nothing happened to it, I have a perfect working Hadaly on it at the moment vaping at 60W quite nicely. :D It's just the battery meter issue and I couldn't recommend it to anyone looking to do TC. I grab the VT Inbox more than the DB2 or Wraith, it just works better with TC builds.

I finally ordered my Hadaly and an Ultum drip tip. I wish I would have done this when it first came out so I could have gotten an Ultum top cap to match, can't seem to find them anywhere :(

I have a strange question that I hope makes sense: can one theoretically empty a tank by blowing through it. Or is whatever comes out just what's stuck in the chimney?

Works for me. I do it from time to time with bottom fill tanks. Blow gently and the tank will empty out through the fill hole. Just did it yesterday with a Lemo. I was about to replace an old coil with one I made on my new Coil Master, and instead I absent mindedly filled the tank. Didn't want to waste the juice so I blew it back into the bottle.

When you blow into the air hole with the atomizer bottom slanted up, you just blow out the air port (because the juice isn't covering the air hole. If you hold it drip tip up and blow, you can force out the juice in the tank through the air hole. There will still be some juice in the tank afterwards because the air port is under the wick on top of the coil deck, not at the bottom of the tank.

If you are talking about removing the juice in the tank to refill or recoil or rewick, try using an empty juice bottle with a thin tip. If the tip fits to fill it, it will work to drain it. Just remove the fill screw, squeeze the bottle and insert the tip. Hold the atomizer with the fill port down and use the bottle to suck out the juice.

I do that all the time to recoil/rewick when I have a full tank of juice. Once you are through with maintenance, just refill with the juice you removed.

I use a syringe with a blunt-tip needle to draw it out.

Ultem looks great, especially when polished.

I think I've asked this question before, but I forgot the answer. Why is it that the ohm reading of a coil will fluctuate?
Also, why is it that 2 supposedly identical coils will read differently? Thank you![emoji4]

The difference in resistance between two identical coils could be caused by the length of the legs. Fluctuations are due ton hot spots, loose holding screws, loose atty on the mod, a bit of dirt in the 510 connection.

I happen to like my Pico Squeeze and have no issues with it. But I actually find I prefer my Coppervape as a general rule. Similar price too, but you have to order it from China, either FT or GB I think are the only places carrying it.
