I find it funny that everyone always said provape was behind the times by not making super high watt mods and now that they are gone, there is a flood of 30-60 watt mods coming out or on the beta stage
Difference being that this is a single 18650/18500/18350 22 mm tube that'll work flush with 22 mm atties offering TC on Ni200, Ti#1, and SS316L for $23. The Provari were single 18xxx mods running between 15 and 50 watts (for the tube variant... the box eventually went to 60), charged extra for extenders and flush tops, offered no TC (kinda sorta did right at the end, but not in a tube) for hundreds of dollars.
There's still a large market for entry level, refined, tube devices. There's even a new crop of MTL tanks hitting the market. When I acquire this, I intend to pair it with my Serpent RDTA... a single coil tank... running a SS316L coil in TC.
I'm not bashing Provape or the Provari... gots 2. I'm just saying they misjudged the market. A limited following of trends and slightly reduced prices might have kept them viable. I'd have easily paid $100 for a P3 60 TC...
