If you can find any Wismec Presa's (either a 75w 18650, or the bigger 100w 26650) they will go down to 1 watt in power mode. I have both the 75w TC and the 100w TC, but run both in power mode with coils anywhere from 1Ω up to 2Ω.
I think I don't really like the brick like shape in my hand. Contemplating the vaporesso target. I know the pico goes down to 1W but I'm skeptical that I will really enjoy holding it so I can't bring myself to order one.

Now, my Hohmtech HΩ Wrecker G2 is a Brick, but I love that Brick dearly.
The G2 is the ergonomic antithesis! But it is the best one in my rotation....and though I don't own a fraction of the Shawn's Vape Emporium, I do own several mods.

I just rebuild when I rewick. every time I do a dryburn, my coils turn gray. even at REALLY low watts. like...i have to hold down the fire button till the 10 second feature kicks in, then do it again real quick. tried dunking in water, scrubbing before I dryburn, I dunno. wires cheap and rebuilding is therapeutic, so i don't mind.

I always thought that grey color was an oxide layer that forms when you heat a coil, and it was a good thing. It's non-conductive so it provides separation between adjacent wraps on a contact coil, and seals in the various metal components of the coil that might evaporate and get in the vapor. I'm not 100% on that though.

On the other hand people talk about the surface of the coil deteriorating over time. Someone (Rossum?) posted microscopic pictures of the surface of coils. They looked kind of ragged after use. I've heard opinions that the quality of the vape goes down as a coil gets old. Whatever, I've started recoiling regularly now just because it's fun.

I was recoiling more often when I was still searching for what I like. Now that I have a little more experience over a few different styles I know more what I like and am letting my coils go longer between rebuilds.

Maybe I'll try that. It's probably just a matter of practice. I was never very good at installing coils. I got in the habit of leaving coils installed once I got one right and just rewicking forever.

And ever.

Zero Milligram (OMG, ya know), I killed the thread. I don't think I've seen the thread without posts in this span of time for months...

It's comforting knowing I'm not the only one who has had this experience!

I used to take offense in my early years on ECF when someone would post "Just get a ProVari". Then I used one and it kept me vaping comfortably for the last three years.

They will forever be the King of the Vaping Jungle for me.

Ahhhhhhh...... us Provari'Nutti. <nodding with total understanding>

It's mucho more dinero... oh, wait, this is America... I meant to say Намного больше денег, but the Gyrfalcon will do just about any cell you wanna tuck into it... I've really enjoyed mine: GYRFALCON All-44 4 Channel Digital Battery Charger

I'm gonna say this out loud here because I feel like this is the only place on the forum I can say this without getting browbeat...

I LOVE my high capacity ego battery - like I love it more than any piece of vape gear I have ever purchased. It lasts all day and it just works.

Say it LOUDLY!!!!! And PROUDLY!!!!!

That 75 watt Presa is a nice and small mod, great for out and about stealth type usage.

Love my Preggers (both of 'em).

The Presa's are curved on one side, makes for a comfortable grip. Call it a rounded brick :)

But you DO need to get what's comfy for you!

Hand comfy is uber important to me. There are some cheapish mods that really check all the boxes. For example, a FAVE of FAVES (for hand comfyness)...

Yes, Provarinutti would just about cover ... oh, wait ... the charger, right?

Looks to be VERY comprehensive, and likely more than most would ever use. And, $85? Ouch...

Gonna get one!

No, seriously, gonna get one. The number one reason people are injured in using e-cigarettes is batteries. The better the tech we can use to test said batteries before and after each use - while charging - the lower the possibiliry of things going boom.

My only concern with eGos is their longevity. I don't mean between charges. I mean the connector is commonly chromed brass and prone to wear and failure. If I had a nickel for every failed eGo connector I've come across... well, I could buy a decent cup of coffee, at least. I vastly prefer Stainless!

I have three that I've had about a year. The big one (2200mah) has some greenish corrosion happening around the button, but it's $7.50 of FT so I'm not sweatin' it. I just ordered one of these....
Free Shipping Hot in USA Ego Killer OLED u30 b 7 30W 2200mah Mod Battery,E Cigarette Battery VV VW,Work with 0.5 Ohm Sub Ohm Kit-in Electronic Cigarette Kits from Consumer Electronics on Aliexpress.com | Alibaba Group
Pretty snazzy!

I did manage to rip off the whole top part on my first ego trying to crank it on the charger hard enough to get it to make an electrical connection.

I will say that I have concerns about the fixed battery. It would make me feel better to be able to see the battery - like if it's swollen or damaged in some way.
