Some food for thought

These days we have real-life friends and we have virtual friends, and sometimes the latter even becomes the former, but for the most part the two remain separate cloaked behind the anonymity of avatars.

This anonymity seems to make some people forget their manners and say things that they wouldn't say face to face - comments that hurt other people's feelings. Sometimes these hurtful comments aren't even intentional, they are made in jest, and we attach emoticons and LOL to them to compensate for the fact that the expression on our face cannot be seen - attaching them to an ambiguous post makes clear our intent to tease not to hurt or insult. But that doesn't always work…depending on the wording, they can still hurt.

Either way, posts that may be perceived as hurtful, intentionally or unintentionally, are best left unsaid. Just as in real life, we won't like everyone we meet in forums. We become friends with some, tolerate others and dislike a few. When we are tempted to respond to a comment we don't like, let's try to remember the saying that most our mothers told us: "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." I would like to add to that "or say it but respectfully."

In this forum where new vapers turn for help, many will hesitate to ask questions for fear of being ridiculed or an unpleasant comment. When that happens we've lost the chance to educate.
If the comment/s in question came from me, then I apple-o-gize.

I agree on nearly all the points here.

However (you had to know that was coming, right?), if I see someone doing something stupid... to be read as potentially dangerous to themselves or the community... I am not going to soft pedal the situation. I would rather someone get angry and disgusted with me than lose a finger or scar their face and show up on the nightly news as another horror story about the dangers of vaping...

There's a big difference between a snarky comment and a comment coming from legitimate concern about ones safety/welfare. I've only seen the latter from you[emoji4]

And here I am buying both subtanks and kayfuns.

Nothing wrong with either...:)
I have both, the subtanks are an airier draw than the Kayfuns, but if you jam a protank coil bottom grommet into the subtank mini air tube it pretty much vapes like a kayfun....for me anyways.

Or even easier. Just use a protank coil in it and turn the airflow way down

Anyone have experience with the subtank nano? I love the mini and thought I'd try the nano....

The Subtank Nano IS the Subtank Mini without the ability to use an RBA and reduces capacity. Aside from potentially fitting some smaller devices a little better, there's no benefit...

I finally cleaned out the toptank mini. I found a protank coil will screw into the base, but there's nothing to seal the coil chimney to the chimney built into the tank. Maybe it could work if you put some orings and/gaskets on the coil chimney.

Put an extra top seal on the chimney.
