Comparing the output of the art/creation of a one man small business to the output of a manufacturer with hundreds of employees...

That's not even not apples to oranges, it's apples to crab legs.

OH man. What's for dinner, classie?

T for Texas!
So there are real dna60 clones too. Interesting. I thought just 40 and then the non dna 70 ones.

Do you recommend the clone ? I'm fed up trying to buy an authentic. Spending $400 is enough of a headache let alone having to set an alarm and wake up every Saturday just to miss out. So I'll happily buy a clone.

But if you see the clones selling out that nicely as well then it must be hoisands if customers for bbv being turned away.
Still a bit early as I don't have one in my hands but the ones w a evolv seem to be spot on.

3fvape has the 60 right now. I bought one today.

h00ligan, we've prolly beat this subject to a pulp by now, but I do want to thank you for your opinions and viewpoints.

Be it that they (the company) are doing it 'wrong', or doing it 'right' (for themselves), I really get a bit queasy in the tummy when vendors I know who are doing the best THEY can, are being dissed for reasons that may or may not be their truth. I do not know anyone's path or creative process but my own. You may indeed have valid points. My issue is that I rebel when I hear things stated as assumptive and ultimate truths, vs. opinions.

"It's an assumption but If it's not artificial supply constraints then they're running the company wrong.

If they haven't in all this time been able to figure out how to ramp up production whilst maintaining standards and lowering production costs and meeting demand then somebody needs to get a partner in business management."

I highly doubt there's a case of artificial supply constraints going on, and if they cannot figure out how to produce more to meet demand, that's a separate issue altogether, and truly not ours to debate. Also in my doubts are any contrived ideas to drive popularity and/or hype. The product speaks for itself, as evidenced and witnessed by the 3 second sell outs.

People MAY say "forget it" and buy a clone. That's the way of the vape world as we know it. (KF, XVO come to mind, as well as many other names)

Surely they can hire more people to/and ramp up production? I'm not privy to that knowledge and I do not know if that's true. I also have no info on their financials or them getting a small capital investment. Those are marvelous ideas, h00ligan, but the assumptions are far from us as customers.

Alas, I highly doubt it's a lack of desire to make more. :(

Yes, it's a struggle to play the F5 wars. Like DPL, perhaps I had a lucky star over my keyboard, but I never suffered the angst of not getting one. Who knows why. I do like your idea of a pre-order list and the randomizer.

I know it's not been ideal...... all the way from the customer to this vendor. Perhaps things will change, and sooner than later.

We shall see. Like you, I wish them nothing but the best, and that same wish is for all vapers who might want to have one.

Wick problem solved. I wasn't wetting the wick before trying to screw the chimney back on. Plus, I don't fiddle with my wick enough to get it nice and even

Thanks for your input. I appreciate it. I see your points and I can only echo your desire that they somehow can start meeting demand or that they find a more fair way to sell the devices. Hopefully I'll be able to Get one someday.

Edit --

Also as many of you know I'm not a clone buyer by nature. You've all seen my authentic mostly. I'm not opposed to buying authentic. I also agree there shouldn't be a logo on a clone. I also think most vape designs are borrowed from other vape designs and i would rather see other companies make similar designs than flat out copy and out a logo on. So I can't really disagree with any of that which was said. But in the end I'm also probably a free market guy.

If they would do the lost randomized idea I'd be happy to wait. Open a list for one week. Randomize until all are filled. Open another list. Repeat. It's for sure his right to make as many and sell as many as he wants. Absolutely can't argue. I personally wouldn't be leaving that much cash on the table. That's all I was saying there.

Do any of you use temperature control and use stainless coils that are contact coils ? I'm trying a contact coil and trying to decide if he gen is being moody or if it's the coil jumping around. The gem is notoriously poor for temp control. Unfortunate side effect of the weird floating center pin design.

Is this a newer device? Are they available still? I love the spheroid but I could really use something like that for it.

i use my tesla stealth mini for my Spheroids and other 16mm atties.
