Yah I very much want one of those. But my vape budget is expended. Maybe after I sell a LOT of stuff.

@Uncle, do you have visibility of your car from your home? You might be better served with a computer camera and set it on "loop" to watch your car (might get better all-around view) I'm guessing those aren't quite as expensive and plug into a USB port?

THANKS - I appreciate the suggestion. . . :D

AND - While I do have line site view of the vehicle, a security camera will not work from the window for what I need, already tried and given the activity in the parking lot it has to be much closer.

Anyway, a Thank you to all that have replied - I'm going to keep checking out a number of those other suggestions and the information I've gotten . . . ;)

:offtopic:

Okay - WAY OFF TOPIC - However, I don't know where else to go and post this, but I Need info & some suggestions that I can trust are sound . . .

I did a lot of research in the past few days and have gotten totally frustrated with all the overwhelming information that is out there (just like I do with any other conversations dealing with technology & electronics today) . . .

Given this - I would appreciate a little assistance from all Ya' that are more technology minded and even more savvy about electronics then I can ever be . . .

AND - So the thread does not get bogged down with reply's - Please send "Me" a PM . . . THANKS ! ! ! :D

Long story short, even though I have an assigned parking space (re: disability accommodation -ADA), I live in senior housing complex that has open parking lots for residents only. Worse is that a majority of the other tenants living here should not be driving - AT ALL ! ! ! "My" vehicle has been scratched (even keyed a couple of times - by someone who resents that I have an assigned parking space and they don't), dinged, and dented way to often. However, the complex management says they cannot (or better said - will not) do anything about it without prof of who is the culprit.

So I want and NEED one of those in car security cameras/"Dash-Cam" (as unobtrusive & inexpensive as possible that works) which I can self-install, especially one that can "SEE" around the car (Front & back of car)- particularly at night and can detect motion when someone is around my car or hits it and inadvertently damages the car by "accident" when it is parked . . . I have seen a number of them that strap on to an existing rear-view mirror or need a professional to install and are available at prices that range from a low of $10.00 (direct from China "Albaba"/FastTech) up to $500.00 + installed (NOT GONNA HAPPEN) . . .

So anyone have any suggestions or want to point "Me" in the right direction ? ? ?

Is there a tree nearby? Walmart has inexpensive game cameras that feature night vision, and motion detection... mount in a tree nearby, turn it on, and collect the data daily...

OK, you kids talked me into it.

I just ordered 2 Doggy Styled and some spare tanks.

My first tank upgrade since the Lemo.

Ain't you proud of me? :p

Jay :headbang:
Yea, precisely why I stopped watching this thread a while ago... 3 Doggys and spare tanks might ship tomorrow. Dang you enablers! But how could I resist a doggy? Now that JAC thing is NOT in the budget right now.. We do need a new roof, and air conditioner and and and. Nope, higher (roof above the head) priorities.

@ChelsB , did you get the RBA sorted out?

No, not yet. But I haven't tried messing with the pin yet. I was getting a little frustrated that nothing was working! I do however LOVE the new tip I learned today about being able to check coils without a base. Awesome!!

Check and see if the insulator between the + post and the deck is OK, also if the post threading thru the base( the one with the air tube in it) is nice and tight. Oh, and make sure the area between +post, insulator and deck is dry.

So, with the rda OFF the base, do you get a reasonable resistance reading? (Your Tab will show non for an OPEN circuit, not a short. We ARE talking about an open circuit (aka non, check atomizer, etc.), yes?

If not, something wrong with the rda.

If so, put it in the base (again ) and check again. If NON, and if the rba read ok off the base, then the connection between the base and the rda is the culprit. Try pushing the base pin in a tad, with the rba off. Then reassemble and try again...

What does the tab show for a hard short ?

(psst. joking. i know you do) ;)

Unless I fall way behind for like a month. Sometimes I get busy and vanish. I think I missed your fangoi(lol) during one of those times.

Their special usa offer is basically taking the VAT and using it for shipping. Hah. So it's about $103 in real money. Squarely competing with he vapor shark which I loved but sold because I saw the finish go off the first one in minutes so I sold the replacement.

Anyway I really like that. I can't seem to find dimensions for it thought. Do you know where I may be able to find them ? Weight too.

No worries. We all fall way behind if not reading ECF every 17 seconds........

I'm not at all sure what you mean about taking the VAT and using it for shipping. The USA price for the device hasn't changed since they first brought this to market. It's not $103 in real or fake money. It's still showing as $79.99.

SERIES-B DNA 75W (Device Only) - (USA)

I have read tons about the VS and its finish. That's one arena where the Jac shines and does not seem to compete. The finish is a stove baked base layer with a rubber coated top layer and the battery door has an electroplated finish.

It's unique, to be sure, and unlike any other I've seen. (= awesome!)

  • Dimensions – 88mm x 22mm x 35mm
  • Weight 168.2 g
