@Skold - Use the coupon code hc0704 at Checkout. Gotta watch it 'cause it will automatically fill in a code for 15% off, and you need the change it to hc0704 to get the 20%. Sign up for an account when you get on their site, and 10% more will automatically be taken off your order, too, for being a new account holder.

I used to collect Batman cards waay back when....I wonder whatever happened to them.

They might have met the same fate my 2 older brothers' baseball cards did! They grew up, moved out, left a bunch of "stuff" in Mom & Dad's attic. Years later they tried to find them up there. Nope...long gone, I'm sure to an A/C repairman, or electrician, etc. who had to get in the attic during all those years for repairs. Was a shame, too, 'cause they had a bunch of cards for the big names (Roger Maris, Mickey Mantle, Whitey Ford, DiMaggio, etc.).

Pokemon cards for me, I'm guessing your older than me cos definitely dint have batman cards as a kid ;)

Then you must be about the age of some of my students that I taught years ago. I'd always end up with quite a collection of those cards from the boys who'd bring them to school and be playing with them during class. They'd all been forewarned that they'd be turned over to me if that happened. The only way to get them back was to have a parent come get them. Of course...that would mean the kid would have to tell Mom or Dad they'd had them at school and were playing with them. IIRC, I only had 2 parents ever come to get them. I usually wouldn't even notice how many I'd had turned over to me until after school ended for the year. No way to get the exact cards back to the correct boys then anyway. They'd all say the most valuable ones were theirs!

I ended up giving them all to another teacher's son who was younger than my students, and he had Muscular Dystrophy. There weren't many activities he could take part in physically then, so he was an avid Pokemon fan and super card collector. You'd have thought I'd given him a million $ when I gave him all those cards. So they went to a very good home!

Or another kind ecf member will send along a little packet of it and I'll go from there. ;)

Do you really or are you joshing? I'm really quite interested in more detailed info on this one.

I haven't been at it as long as you but I started out in Kloudz Bro land and made my way here to the TPs. My favorite place to be here on ecf. Welcome!

Reminding me I need to swap my own battery out before I sit down and relax. :)

Been missing you @ChelsB

Not a mech mod?

Here in Phoenix people are baking cookies on their car dashboard. I hate this time of year.

Thanks to @Two_Bears and @ToolmanTexas for the kayfun info. I successfully built my first franken-kayfun tonight and am very pleased with the result. Base from a cheap o 3.1 clone, nano caps and chimneys and a vase drip tip. Fantastic flavor and vapor. Definitely more of these in my future. Just getting in there and trying it gave me the confidence to get in there and try more. Will be ordering more parts during the 15% off sale. Also thanks to mr Bears for recommending a 2.5 ID build on the doggy (in your blog). I had gotten into a habit of using 2.0 on pretty much everything but I'm liking 2.5 much more in that particular atty.
Glad to help sister.

A few years ago i was vaping ob the Goblin Mini that had what i thought was the. Greatest flavor. Then i helped an 80+ year old Korean Veteran switch from smoking to vaping. Soneone had sold him a Kayfun in the. 34 mm bell cap so it was my job to teach him how to build it. I'll be damned if the kayfun nano (as they called it) didnt have flavor almost as good as ny GMini.

A couple years later i was vaping on my Silverplay nano and it was alnost broke on tye bus. So i looked for the cheapest atty i could find and i found the Kompact Kayfun (thinking a $5.43 atty would be awful) but it grew on me abd i sold my Vapocalpse stash of Goblin Mini and Silverplay attys and stashed enoygh spare parts to build 15-20 of them.

Glad i could introduce you to the Kompact KAyfun.

They are

So darn pocket friendly

Dont leak if tge Kayfun base has a good O ring

Use a single coil

You can refill from the bottom without using the fill port.

Pull the deck to rebuild or wick without dumping the juice.

Has very good flavor about a step behind real flavor chasing RTAs.

Spare parts availability and you can keep a kayfun going almost forever.

But many will say i want clouds. You can have that too. Use a Kayfun Monster Mini V3 base and you can direct lung to your hearts content.

I wish Svoemesto had put the KFL+ under the 25 mm tall bell cap in the beginning.

@RainSong. Glad i could steer you fron a 2 mm to 2.5 mm coil for the Doggy. I tried a doggy and not impressed. My Doggy leaked with a 2 mm coil. Switched to a 2.5 mm coil and no more leaks.

The only reasons i didnt like the doggy.

Humongous screw heads.

Airflow ring came off everytime i took it apart.

It was direct lung instead of MTL

FLAVOR not as good as my beloved Kompact Kayfun.

I do have to say one thing easier to build than a Kompact Kayfun.

If i could replace the screws with phillip screw heads and force it into MTL I may give it another whirl

I made 60 this year...my older sister (by 2 yrs) collected Beatle cards, she still may have them.

Yup more than likely, except my cards would have been stashed somewhere in the damp basement and if they were ever found they'd be in terrible shape.

Yeah, I know... same age as my oldest :)

Gotta catch 'em all... I know all the stuff from your gen thru my kids and love most of it. All the cartoon network stuff, anime, emo rock (which I love Hawthorne Heights, MCR, Blink, etc. so don't want to hear your sass :)).
