I appreciate you asking. I do know how to build. I did it mostly with rda's up to a couple months ago. I mostly used kanthal so I'm with the 24G and 22G. I do own 26G kanthal too. I've made builds with ss and nichrome. I have an app called vape Tool that's very helpful, similar to steam engine in a way.

That lightening vapes 28/36 clapton has the overall diameter of 26 but the resistance and heat up of 28. It's also very durable and works for dry burns so you don't have to rebuild as often.

What would be the most common and most popular mtl rebuildable tanks, just like when one thinks of a non-rebuldable mtl tanks they think of the nautilus (reg. mini & 2)? I figured I should rebuild a mtl tank for myself to get the best tootle puffer experience:) Thanks a mil.

Doggystyle is a very good easy to build MTL RTA :)

Ego one with CLR.
One of the kayfun variants.
sxk doggy style.
Kangar sub or top tank with rba deck ( included)
One of the rose variants.
Squape R or E
Skyline
evl reaper
erlkonigin

dethmed, I'll just chime in with what I like for MTL.

Plus 1 for the Doggy, the KFs, and the Egg Rolls (Ego One with CLRS). Altho the Eggies are not true RB'ables, they are one heck of an excellent pop in coil that is super easy to rewick/rebuild.

The Siren, for me, was randomly good at best.

I just read a review of the Siren and it seems like a quality mtl tank that's not too expensive so it seems like I'm gonna give it a go. Thanks @h00ligan for recommending this tank.

MANY like it, and you may as well. I found it not to be in my top 10.

It works well, when it works, but the failings to me were the random leakiness, the finicky need for an over abundance of wicking, and that it burned thru liquid like a V8 engine. Other than that, not a bad tank. :D

The MTL vape world is full of two kinds of people. Those who have tried the SXK Doggystyle and those who have not.
Uh unh. There are only 2 kinds of people in this world...

1. Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data

Another underrated atty is the Wine. It actually might be a great mid-position atomizer for someone in between DL and MTL, as it has enormous air flow.
Now that you mentioned that the wine has enormous air flow, I remembered that I have the OBS Crius 3 with a lot of airflow. It also has a velocity style deck. I'm wondering if I can convert that tank into a mtl tank.

Interesting. I've not experienced any leaking but you do have to use a lot of wick. Maybe all that wick gives he illusion of burning through juice since a lot get soaked in.

Anyway o just felt like from where he's coming from it's a good tank for moving over.

And it very well might be, Hools. I do believe we have to try things out to know if it suits our style(s).

For me tho, it was not illusionary to burn thru a gallon of vliquid per puff with the Digi.

My budget I think is around $50. If it has to be a clone because the original is too much then I'd buy the clone initially. I've only been building on rda's because I used to vape DL all the time but recently I switched over to mtl 90% of the time so I don't know what kind of builds I'd favor for mtl.
Just throwing my 2 cents in the pot....Kayfun mini v3, Origen Tiny ( it really is, 1.2 ml or so, makes a very nice stealth setup), Doggystyle (don't have one but many like it) Hussar with the optional mini tank (bit more expensive for a clone but well worth the money, get the Coppervape made one).

Well the gem was on sale for $60 and the mod was $25 shipped. So it's not that bad. There was a amok bugs blowout sale at Delaware vapor recently.
