I guess I didn't want to put up an amusing little recipe that has Tootle Puffer written all over it if doing so was generally frowned upon...:D
I'm not sure what you mean but I think I can speak for all of us here when I say that any form of vaping that keeps us from smoking is the right one for each of us. Many people in this thread are strictly Tootle Puffers (like me) and many switch back and forth with other forms.

Any safe DIY juice that works for you is also the right one.

Any and all safe vaping practices are cheered because, again, they keep us off the stinkies. So no frowning around here.

You know I'm not good at reading when I don't have my ADHD medication. But, are you maybe thinking about the cool fire TC? Not just the regular Cool Fire? As compared to the Pico? I have all 3 so I will take a picture for comparison.
I thought all versions of the Coolfire 4 were the same size and shape. I didn't realize there was a difference, guess I learned something new today.

For tobacco flavors, which is basically all I use and DIY:

These vendors:
Bull City Flavors - Best Prices on Flavoring
DIY E-Liquid, Electronic Cigarettes and Wholesale Nicotine & E-Cig Juice | EcigExpress
E Cigs for Vaping | Best Electronic Cigarettes, Vape For Sale

These flavor brands:
Concentrated Flavoring - Brands - Hangsen - Page 1 - Bull City Flavors
Super Concentrates
Tobacco Express Ultra Concentrated e-liquid Flavors | ecigExpress
Hangsen Essence Flavoring | Hangsen Flavors for E Cig
Concentrated Ecig Flavorings | Alcohol Flavored DIY Vape E Juice

The Super Concentrates/Flavor Express above are all Dekang brands, just relabeled by each vendor.

My faves are HS Tab, No. 5 and Highway... from Dekang I really like the Dunhill.

You can start with any of those and use 2.5%, .5% of EM and start there. Adjust up or down for experimenting and finding your happy spot. It does not get any more simple.
Thanks For That...Excellent Post...ECX & BC are my goto's...And on the Flavors I also like FE / FA / TFA /INW and FW...I have heard that from others as well that SC & FE are Dekang Flavors...Trig :D

OK, so I normally don't say anything but for some reason this phrase is bothering more lately. So not directed specifically at you, but more as a general "something to think about" for anyone who says this.

Most, if not all of us encountered judgmental people when we were smoking. Also, some in this thread still smoke. The use of the term "stinkies" comes across to some of us as the same type of judgmental attitude that we got from certain non-smokers. So just something to think about for those who use this phrase. I know most people don't mean it to come across that way but...

...at about the 6 month mark of my vaping journey I almost walked away from ECF and from vaping. There were two semi related reasons. One was the fact that I felt like I was failing at it, because I hadn't just stopped smoking immediately like so many seemed to do. The other was that I kept running into comments on ECF that made me feel like more of a failure because they seemed to imply that smokers were sort of second class related to vapers. Things like the term "stinkies" for example.

I stumbled into the TP thread, and was lucky enough to have someone (thank you by the way, you know who you are) say just the right thing to me to encourage me when I needed it, and so I stuck with it. But I sometimes wonder how many leave because it makes them feel unwelcome.

I really like your post. Your points are well taken. I use the word "cigarette", I used it for more than forty years and saw no reason to change. I tapered down but was stuck on two cigarettes each morning for I don't know how long. One day I realized that it was several days since my last cigarette, then never again. I was more concerned with those cigarettes avoided rather than those smoked.

I am sorry for your experience, I joined the ECF well into my vaping journey. So, I came convinced that it was working for me. I guess I experienced a slow miracle because I had tried every method known to man except Chantix all of which failed. I got a lot of help in finding better gear and wrapping coils (and, man, was I a dodo when I arrived).

Again, great post and thanks for the fortitude to express it.

So here's what's a little amusing...Speaking Of Tobacco...I've been vaping for about 2 years and until the day before yesterday I had never tried any other flavor than a Tobacco...I think I associated "Flavor" with "Menthol" which I never really cared for...I've been DIYing for about 2 weeks...I am a quick learner :D...I've made some small test batches of Tobacco Flavors...Turkish/Burley...Which smell wonderful but I believe they need to steep a while...I did try a little of the Turkish fresh made which was pretty darned good...But those aren't a recipe...

So why I would chose this as my 1st recipe ???...I haven't got a clue...It is the very 1st Non-Tobacco Flavor...I've ever tasted...Of course I think it's delicious...But then again I have exactly zero frame of reference to make any such claim...But it is kind'a tasty and pretty darned simple...I made a 30ml batch...So here it is...

V70/P30 18mg Base
6% TFA - Banana Nut Bread
3% FW - Butter Pecan
3% FW - Rum

Maybe I should call it "Tootle Puffers Banana Nut Special"...And those flavors are so common I'm quite sure someone has done something close if not identical...I fully intend to turn this into a Dessert Tobacco at some point in the future and add in 2% FE Turkish...Trig :D

Wow, I never even considered that using the term 'stinkie' in relationship to smoking would be taken in that manner. I am guilty of calling cigarettes stinkies, cause , well, they do stink.(cig, not the person). And I have been known to acknowledge about how much patience people around me had when i was smoking because, to be around me at that time must have taken a lot of luv to do so.(I was a chimney).

I always remember being treated like a second class citizen in relation to smoking as I did encounter it on a daily basis when I was still working. So if I have made anyone feel that way, I really do apologize as I always mean it to describe the object, NOT the person.

there was a simple DIY recipie thread floating around somewhere...my ADV has been:

7% orange cream
5% strawberry
3% pineapple

for a couple years now. I make it 1000ml at a time and just try other mixes every now and then. I'm boring. lol

all TFA fyi.

Too wide? I don't think it could be any narrower, it is by far the smallest 18650 mod I have laid eyes on.

ETA-So after a moments thought, the teardrop shaped mods may be narrower at the narrow end.
Coolfire 4 for example is wider than a Pico on the battery end, but narrower on the display end.

The 18650 is just a touch bigger.

Thank You For The Thought...And for ME it's a done deal...In the previous month or so I was down to 1 or 2 per day...In the last week I was distinctly dis-liking each one more and more...Throwing the last 1/2 pack in the garbage was really easy...Trig :D
That's wonderful! It was much more difficult for me. I dual vaped/smoked for 3 years. Of course the vaping helped me cut down tremendously, but I was still smoking 5 - 10 per day. Better than 2 packs a day.

I stayed away for 2 years for the same reason. It's easy for some, difficult for others. Now, with that said, cigarettes do cause some stench. lol! But, I also was able to smell a lot of other odors that I never smelled before when I quit smoking. Like my dog's farts!!

Right there with Ya' on this (worse is "another coffin nail" - Like I don't know already) . . .

I thought many times about leaving ECF for similar reasons . . . However, when I read most of these types of statements and/or comments I just skip over them and try to remember that - Thankfully - as a dual user and someone who is still determined to quit smoking eventually to become I full time vapor, not only I - but many others here have many supporters in this thread and on ECF as a whole (especially people like @Bea_FL ) and realize they do not mean to be negative or make what might be considered a negative comment towards anyone who still is smoking cigarettes/tobacco, but they are just reminding themselves and supporting other people why they are and should continue to be vapors . . .

BTW: To all Ya' vapors out there just remember that Vapor smells and "YOU" do too, just not as bad usually . . . ;) :pervy:

No doubt, which is why I tried (and hopefully succeeded?) to clarify that I know it isn't meant to be denigrating or derogatory. I just want to to try to make people aware of the fact that sometimes it can be taken that way.

Oddly, "coffin nail" never bothered me, as I have called them that numerous times myself since almost the time I started smoking.

Finding juice you like is part of the trick. Your taste buds are going to recover and juice that was great yesterday will be unvapeable tomorrow.

It took me about 9 months until my taste bud settled down. After all that there are only 4 flavors I vape.
