After my first go at revamping a CE4 clearo and seeing nothing but blur, trying to manipulate the wire to have spaces with a round magnifying glass I needed something more convenient or grow a third hand that magnified before I sat down again to work on a coil. I found a clamp on LED magnifying lamp on the staples(dot)ca site that plugged into the wall. Nearest staples is a hour away, made a phone call....whoohoo in stock for 40 bucks so made the drive and still using the light 4+ years later. Its a invaluable tool for me to build coils with or working on any smalls item. I've put on a pair of the glasses type magnifiers and tried to work with many years ago and it was a POS so I didn't think anything would change from back then to today. I will say that lamp was money well spent and has paid for itself 1000 fold.

I intend to build as long as possible. Never had a drop in coil head provide the flavor of my hans wrapped coils .
There's hope .......... I think.
I'm 76, and blind as a bat & have a gimpy (surgically altered) hand. And, I still wrap my own coils.
The old fashioned way no less
