I've only used SS316L for TC. It just works. You can't dry burn Titanium. It turns to ash. Don't ask me how I discovered that! I have some Nickel but haven't even opened that package.
Haven’t Vaped in over a year, but remember that Nickel in 28G and higher was a PITA to build for me..
SS430 was my goto.
SS316 worked great as-well.

Nickel is a great TC vape though.
I mainly used it in Pre-Built coils lol

I started chasing Wattage about a year and a half ago and eventually screwed myself over. Couldn't figure out why I had such terribly strong cig cravings. Finally figured out (duh) that klowdz don't really mimic the experience of smoking a cig, which is what I was addicted to. I went completely back to lower Wattage MTL vaping and I don't even really have the stuff on hand to do decent lung hits any more. I'm sure that I could find at least one box of atomizers each for a couple of tanks that I could chase clouds on, if I wanted to dig through my junk. Not gonna do it though. Maybe if you tried that? I don't know what kind of vaping you were in to.

I hope you get some relief soon...I watched my mother suffer with shingles ... not nice at all! :(
It’s no fun. I’m good as long as I don’t move. I do take the pain meds before bed and since I’m homeschooling my son, I’ve been taking Motrin during the day.

A quick question on my Ego One atomizer,is the inner liner under the metal, glass or plexiglass?
I've got some Cinnamon lite juice I'd like to vape in the Ego One and am worried it may wreck the inner sleeve.
Nice to see you back @ChelsB !
Thanks !

This is the one I have (the 2.5ml) which I believe is the first of the Ego One series ...
JOYE-EOTSS-2.jpg

It comes with an "organic glass" drip tip...which is plexiglass or pmma.
I'm gonna just assume the inner liner is the same as the drip tip and not risk ruining it with a Cinnamon flavour...Shuckz!

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

Needless to say, you're in the right place. I am SURE any and all here would be more than willing to lead you into the changes we've seen in vaping. Perhaps you'll now discover your true sweet spot and kick the cigs to the kerb.

Wishing you the best, Mikey!

Thanks for the kind reply!
I Vaped about every style lol
I think I was around 3 years with no cigs...
I started MTL as that’s all their was when I began, Even when I switched to High Wattage, TC, etc. I still always kept a low wattage setup on my desk.
I’v forgotten many Vape Terms ha
I will try every style to try to get back to Vaping, I still have all my gear and backups that will do the job..
But a good MTL setup with a Menthol juice worked best for me...

Then why not just jump in with that? Imo a closer "mimic" to smoking, which is what works for me.

SHINEY!!

I am, I just gotta wait on some juice to arrive.. I can’t DIY the Menthol I vape.

As for making other e-liquid, im trying to make space at my current place to do it. As well as somewhere to build, working in a tight space lol

How have you been Ock?

I have a couple .5 or .8 builds handy but most of my day is vaping a 1.4ohm 30K/34SS clapton. I just like the higher ohm vape and now claptoning 30 gauge wire I can build a smaller ID coil that doesn't consume all the space in my subtank RBA. Using 28 gauge core clapton I'd have to make 3-3.5mm coils to get close to 1.4ohms that I had to manipulate to fit in the RBA leaving little space for airflow. I like TC but still making cloudz isn't my thing and has never been but firing off the smoke alarm tells me I'm doing something right.

I have never been a “Cloudz Bro” either lol
But Flavor Chasing with high wattage or TC will put out some fog at times..
Yeah, Iv set plenty smoke alarms off as well by accident..

For years I vaped a 3mm coil at 1.5 to 2 ohms. Once I tried a 2mm coil at less then an ohm I was hooked. Smaller coils and wicks increase airflow in a Kayfun just because there's less wicking to block airflow in the chimney and a smaller coil on top of the air port. Flavor seems to be better with a 2mm coil at my 10W average setting. Right now, I'm vaping a 2mm SS316 coil, 6 wraps, at .52 ohms. It fires and heats almost immediately, but it's not hot at all ... just barely warm.

Can't help with any menthol mixes, as it's a "flavor" I've never cared for, even while a smoker. I have heard some (many?) say that a mint flavor works better, though. Maybe something to consider?

Heck, the kitchen counter next to the sink is all the space that's needed ;)

Unfortunately, life's not been boring. Nothing "big", just lots of activities that come with us (wife and I) being the care-givers for her almost 95 yo mom. Happy to do it, but it's sure a good thing that I'm retired!

Then again, boring on the vape front. Just tootle along happily with my KFs. Try one of the latest and greatest tanks now and then, then box 'em back up and settle back with what works (for me, of course!)
