Any Dr that denies a potentially addictive medication that has been a effective for a patient, without ascertaining if the patient is abusing that medicationn should not be in practice.
My Dr does bloodwork everytime I see him every 3 months. Not only monitor the effect of the RA on my organs, but the levels of meds in my system, & watch for the effect meds might be having on organs also. They also monitor for illegal substances & unprescribed drugs. They do this with every patient. I don't understand why the DEA took the step of making it so obnoxiously difficult to prescribe hydrocodone instead of investigating over prescribing. I can pay for the triplicate paperwork required for it every three months, or settle for something that doesn't work as well & have to take more often. I settle & live with the additional pain. No one with actual, chronic, intense pain should go through this.

No they should not have too it is really ridiculous. And some local and state law's make it even harder than what the DEA have done.

@Kenna

I think you knew what I meant but them words did not come out right. No one should have to go thru all of that.

It works for awhile till it starts to have a impact upon your health, well being and family. Then we do not see the damage it is doing till it is too late.

If I could only turn back time and make better decisions.
It's worked for over 20yrs for me, that's the big problem. I'd developed such a tolerance I had to have huge quantities of it and ended up here!
I didn't want to lose this page until I could write everything down, you guys have been a huge resource! Thank you for the suggestions and I'll research them and run them by my Dr when I go in this week. Just been busy trying to get caught up from missing last week at home, the grass keeps growing!
Thanks again!

Maybe talk to him about Antabuse for the cravings and Ambien or Belsomra for sleep. I take Ambien most of the time but have Belsomra also. Not sure which works better but ive taken Ambien for about 8 years daily because of chronic back pain. I have a birth defect in my spine and have had two spinal fusions. I still suffer from pain but it is better than before. I used alcohol to cope with it for years and have been free from it for almost 3 years now.

Everyone gave great advice. We are all different so take notes and talk with your doc like you said and come up with a plan.

:)

I do not think it would be that good with a tootle coil in it. Meaning like a 28g 1.5ohm set up. For a single coil clapton or twisted wire in a restricted lung inhale situation it will probably be very good.

Not sure if it would serve as a dual purpose atty.

edit:

Someone maybe can help with that answer more who has one.

Time for a hand check pic. This is the new mod we have just finished. Panel is embossed bonded pewter and wood is red gum harvested from a nice piece of firewood. :p

That is so very nice, you did a wonderful job on it.

No cravings, I'm just not like that. Would I like a drink? Sure! But my world isn't going to end if I don't get one. I still have half a 1.75l on top of the fridge, haven't even glanced at it. Like I've said, it was just a tool to slow my mind down to function and sleep, time for a new tool is all.

I have one built with a spaced 26g 1.0ohm coil. Good MtL, but it is more open than what is generally considered tootle gear. I would think it would work fine with a 28g 1.5ohm coil though.

Oh really??? This makes sense to me that it would work. I have never heard of it but I really need to look into it. I do like sleeping under allot of blankets in the winter.
I had a dream this morning that was a recapitulation of some horrendous events in my life. I woke up without anxiety or depression. Those things happened, and that is that. .... happens.

That blanket works, and much cooler than an equivalent weight of traditional blankets.

I have sleep issues and this sparks my interest. How did you make your own.
calming the senses with weighted blankets Is the basic directions. There are hygiene issues with using grain or beans, though. If you are still interested, and want to order the beads (available in Au), I can give you further instructions by PM. I am making them for my charitable quilting group to give to schools, and have made three so far.

When beginning a new med for pain, or anxiety i've found that they may make you sleepy, or loopy, but they work. After you're on them for awhile you build up a "tolerance" & they no longer make you feel like that. But they still work for the purpose intended, ie anxiety or pain. As long as they do what they are supposed to do there is no need to change dosage. I've been on 3 different meds for pain for 20 years, & anxiety for 6 years. The only reason i had to change pain meds is because the FDA pulled Darvocet from the mark, & the DEA created extreme hoops to jump through for hydrocodone & Drs started charging the patient for completing the paperwotk required for every new prescription written , in my case, everythree months that insurance won't cover. I've never had to change dosage, because they work, & they still make me sleepy. The Tylynol3 I'm on now doesn't work as well, & I have to an extra one during the day. The others would last a full 24 hours. I am so sick of being stalked by my insurance provider, & the gov't, & the Drs & pharmacy, just because I had the misfortune to get an uncurable illness.

To me the Merlin works perfect as a Tootle puffer. I MTL with the restrictor in with afc just about open. 28 ag Kanthal with 2.5 mm id,1.2 ohm at 12 watts. Best flavor i have ever had. I like it so much i have ordered another.
