Does the box say occ coils if not I think those are old coils might be the problem.

My MISTAKE the O rings are 1/2 inch (I just measured to make sure).I had gone to the hardware store with my pt mini in hand and the sales person and I kept trying different rings til one fit.

The 1/2 inch thin ones fit and are working.

I don't know why 3/8 inch kept sticking in my head (I'm getting old).

I use a 50/50 pg,vg juice in my rebuilt pt minis all the time.

No worries, I hadn't gone to the hardware store yet!

I can only tell you that I've been using a batch for almost two years and they look fine.

50/50 in your ProTank And you get dry hits/burning taste?

I would never use 50/50 in a ProTank (or it's smaller cousin, the EVOD), I would up the PG in that to at least 70, if not 75. At 75PG25VG, no dry hits.

Of course, that's my opinion

I use 50/50 in mine with factory coils with no problem

The Nautilus X my wife is using, came from the Quad kit, bought it for myself to use the rebuildable setup, but I wasn't that impressed with it, so sat in the dust pile for months, till the wife wanted a new setup, so been dug back out to use as The Naut X for her.

With the 1.8ohm coil being newer, explains why they are even harder to find, but the coil I bought the wife yesterday from the local B&M was the 1.5ohm, and she is liking that and is lasting so far, so just bought her 4 packs of them last night from madvapes, as they seemed to have the best price for a US vendor.

Don't know if the 2ml capacity is a problem for her (was for me), but they make an adapter kit for the X to make it 4ml capacity. Did a quick google, here is what I am talking about. Aspire Nautilus X 4ml Adapter (have not purchased from there, just for reference)

Just on orings. Keep in mind that kanger tech and other non US manufacturers use imperial measure o-ring sizes.

Thanks @Burnie I did see they did a extension kit for it, right now she hasn't complained about the 2 mil capacity, and likes it being so small (inset joke here), but it is good to see can expand it if needed though

OK. I'm ready to admit I'm a TP. My favorite tanks are PT2 minis. I take them to work on Spinners because they fit in my pocket. Sometimes when I get in a conversation with folks in the smoking / vaping area I tell them I have better gear at home because I'm a little embarrassed about the minis. But I often use the minis at home as well.

I do have some Kayfun Lites but they are TP gear as well, just more flashy looking.

I have a question for any PT mini users here, figured this would be a good place to find them. I just got a couple more minis on sale for $6 and one of the o-rings was torn. Realised I don't have any spare glass seal o-rings. I thought they came with spare o-rings, but when I looked at a bag of rings today they are just drip tip rings. I started looking around and they are hard to find now. One site, Sun Vapers, said that the V2 minis use different o-rings for the top and bottom of the glass. I checked and that's true. The rings at the top of the glass are thinner. But none of the other sellers mention the difference, even the Kangertech site. They just sell bags of o-rings.

I have a bunch of minis and I was expecting them to last me forever. I have a load of heads which I rebuild, with a big bag of spare insulators. But I need rings. Does anyone know if the V2's work with the same rings top and bottom.

Appreciate any suggestions.

Are those the VOCC coils? I just picked some of those up this week. First one took a day to break in and then it was great. Started out at about 10-11W... 2nd day, about 12-13W... 3rd day on, 14.5W. Going on 6 days now, still at 14.5W... HUGE improvement over the dual coils.
