if you guys like that setup have you ever looked at the noname no toy on top of the squeeze. i have the o16 also and have migrated toward the no toy due to the bottom air flow, though i really did like the o16, i find the notoy more flavorful with better density and the overall size is similar, it also looks great.
My NoToy (clone) is in Sydney, a couple of more days travelling before I have it in my hot little hands ;)

Happy day today

Everything the original Q class should of been, I absolutely love this mod.

Nice one Rix. I never got into YiHi boards after they did TC. Used plenty of the earlier chips like the SX200, SX220 and the SX350. The OBS Engine looks sweet on it!!

Does this mean there's a short?

There isn't much room in a PT head. The coil is very close to the body of the base of the head. When you put the chimney back on the head the chimney will be very close to the coil and you can't even see it at that point. Since 28 is a little thicker than 30 everything will be that little bit closer. I had a few problems with shorts when I first started doing it, where my coil was a fraction too high and ended up touching the chimney. It can be intermittent as well, as things move around slightly.

If you still have that coil installed you could try pulling the chimney up a fraction and see if the problem goes away. Not much point except for curiosity though.

30 on a 1/16th drill bit works, but if you increase the gauge or the size of the coil you will be pushing up against some limits.

Thanks, I'll try that!

Just wondering, how many heads do you have laid in. In case you didn't know Lightning Vapes sell packs of disassembled heads for a dollar each, or less if you get larger packs. They include all the parts, o-rings and so forth. And you can get packs of insulators. The insulators are the part that need replacing most often since they tend to burn or get torn over time. With a bag of heads and extra insulators you would be set up for life.

what made you decide on that, you been considering it for a long time? Make sure you grab some 30-32 gauge wire for best results, i like 31, 6 wraps contact coil and ask if they're including the afr insert for you as well.. not that it's needed as much in that tank as the heron but it would be nice to have one sent out at the same time.

it's a great device.. i have a second spheroid in a microstick too.
Thanks! I've been wanting a Piccolo and Spheroid for years, then when I saw the latest Piccoloid and watched Qorax's vid on it, I decided to go for it. Other considerations were that I have more than enough regulated mods at this point, and decided to future-proof a bit with some things that don't have chips that can go bad, and some more rebuildable tanks without glass that I may not be able to replace at some future point, and also wanted to a) support the local creators, and b) buy fewer but better things now. Also, I love the small things, and I also wanted something that wasn't a box mod for a change. (Also, I had some xmas money :p)

I have it now, and it's perfect. Well, the Spheroid is perfect (it does have the air flow control, btw!) -- I have to wait for my batteries to arrive before I can try it all together. I'm using the Spheroid with the 510 adapter add-on, and it's fantastic.

You guys make me love my simple ole tootle puffer rigs more & more every day.
They've worked well for the past 6 years, and I'm bettin' they'll work well for the next 6 years.
I know, right? I read all this stuff posted since yesterday and feel like a total noob. Interesting stuff though.

Now that looks sharp, got the single 18650 sx mini, and was never tempted by the Q class, due to it being so big, but that one is really tempting though.
