I'm wondering if I can expect my m80 to last longer than the skillet?

Probably. It's always a roll of the dice. Sometimes the inexpensive but simple stuff lasts forever (relatively) and the more expensive bites the dust in a week. Remember, mods with built in batteries are history when they no longer can hold a charge, and replaceable batteries can always be swapped out. A Skillet may be great, but if you use it on a regular basis eventually it will no longer hold a charge. however, you'll probably have more than gotten the value out of it by then.

Puff, I'm thinking about getting a couple of the 2ml 19mm for my stash and some CLR coils. Have you had any leakage with these tanks. Leakage is a deal breaker for me.

@Bea-FL , do you know of this ? made my latest buy about $8.80 a tank... :D

If the mod has pass-thru , yes you can....theoretically. Would I do it? NO!!! Would I suggest you do it, DEFINITELY NO!

Okay, thanks for the information . so I'll just toss it when it no longer holds a charge

Say you are really desperate (I'm not, but hypothetically speaking) and your device no longer holds a charge. Could you still use it with it plugged in? Would it be safe?

Actually, no. Remember, a usb charger will typically deliver all of 1A, hardly enough to fire a coil. What happens with passthrough is charging is momentarily paused and the battery fires the coil. When you release the fire button, the battery resumes charging. given that, if the battery won't hold a charge, passthrough will not help you.

Good to know, thanks Eskie!

Pass through usually requires a small charge in the battery to work. USB ports can't really supply enough current on their own.

Do you guys keep the silica packs that come with your new devices when you store them for the long term?
Florida has 70-100% humidity year-round. Even with our AC being on 8-10 months a year I dont take chances with my vapicalypse stash. I filled small pill bottles with silica gel, drilled holes in the caps and placed the bottles in my boxes that contain all the electronics snd metal stuff. When the silica turns punk you put it in the oven for a few hours and when it turns blue agsin it's ready to use again.

Silica gel is what is in those packets and you csn buy it at stores thst sell flower drying supplies. Very cheap.

I also loosened all the connections that have O-rings to avoid compressing them since some things are stored away potentially for years. I dont know if that helps any but it's a precaution.
