Not sure how I feel about the term "tootle puffer." In the spirit of playing along (and because I'm new here — your place your rules) . . . Any other genny tootle puffers about? Let's see 'em!
Hi, Cyber! Welcome to Puffery! Like it or not, you've found us.

It is the middle section of the three peice tank part so you can see you juice level. You can replace the center steel section with the small clear section. If you are using tank cracker juices (some fruits & those containing citrus) you'll want to use the metal piece in the center.

Oh! When you fill it don't fill it more than just under halfway up that chimney base! When you turn it upside down to fill there is a LOT of juice that you can't see that is sitting in the top close to the drip tip. It's a bit of an optical illusion. Just fill it less than halfway up the chimney base, put the fill hole screw back in j turn it rightside up. It will look like it's full, but there will be an airspace left in the top (again, where you can't see it.). You need that airspace in thete to help with vacuum & juice flow. Fill it too much & you'll have juice flow issues.
It's a science thingy.

Mike, thanks for asking the questions for me! And Kenna, thanks so much for all the answers! I just received mine today, so I'm following along. It is all washed up and drying overnight. No instructions came with it, at all! So, I guess I'll make a coil for it tomorrow and see what happens.

Be sure to post how it goes. My wire and tools won't arrive until Monday, so you get to be the guinea pig when it comes to building a first coil for this thing. What color did you get?

I found out a while back that I am a tootle puffer! I love 7w to 9w (recently started vaping at 9w sometimes and sometimes 10w not very often though because it just dont taste the same as 7 to 9 ;) ) and 3.7v to 4v. I still do mouth to lung hits. When I am feeling frisky ;) I will do a lung hit...dont happen very often ;) I even tootle puff on my STM! It has been the best subtank to tootle puff on for me, even though I sometimes wish their was one more tighter airflow notch on that airflow control! I have a couple rdas, but I dont use them much due to not being able to do mouth to lung hits without coughing....lol I will always keep them though, because I still use them from time to time and I will eventually figure out how to do mouth to lung hits without coughing on them :) I am excited to meet you all and get to know you, and to see some who I already know :)

Yep. The Pip is on her way!
Congratulations! You probably should clean it. Hottish water, a bit of dish soap & a lite scrub with an old tooth brush. Take it apart, just loosen the screws a little, you don't have to take them out & risk losing them. Take the 2 big orings off & clean the threads. Rinse it off well, & then give it all a squirt with alcohol or vodka. Dry it as eell as you can & then lay it all aside to air dry. None of my EHPro KF's were very dirty or oily when I got them, but there wad a slight machine oil smell to them. This method got rid of it. After it's dry hollar & I'll walk you through lining up the airflow! This is so easy you'll facepalm yourself.
You got it!

Missyn take the base & hold it uo toward a light. You should be able to see through the airhole and see a round speck of light through the opposite airhole. If you can't see the light, or if it's not perfectly round, then you airflow is closed off. There is a way to fix it but I can walk you through that tomorrow. Once it' adjusted you'll never have to do it again.

Three in what 3 months? And still want a pink Hex Angel & a plain blue one. Or maybe a blue distressed. I love these things!

This is one of the few threads I participate in because it seems to not have a bias towards a particular set of vaping gear just a style.

Well said! Many get the itch to try the "New Improved" versions, forgetting what works for them may not align with the "New Improved" mantra.
