Well, yes I do! That's where it will go, thanks. Which of the all the versions and variations do you prefer? I know you and Kenna have talked about them before, and of course I wasn't ready then, lol.
I'm getting ready to try and coil this thing.

The EHPro Lite V2, with the dual air intakes. (Vaporrange :) ) Best of the breed, imo. Most of mine are that version, although some of my older ones (first was a clone 3.1 about 2 1/2 years back) are single air intake, and also vape very well. But if I were adding to my stash today, the two intake version.

On ANY that have a bottom air adjust screw, once you decide where you want it set, back it out enough to see some threads and put a tiny dab of rubber cement on the threads (use a toothpick), then run it back to where you want it. Some have a nasty habit of backing out in use, and then drag on and mar the top of your mod, or even make it darn near impossible to remove from the mod!

Spinfuel has an article on their site that praises DTL vaping.

In the Comments section I wrote...

After LOVING smoking for 40 years…I immediately (and completely) switched to vaping after getting a MTL “Starter Kit”. This interesting article appears to say that if I bought a Sub-Ohm Tank (and switched to DTL vaping) I’d then be able to 1) at least double my ejuice consumption, 2) at least double the rate of discharge of my Mod’s battery and 3) blow large clouds to disturb other customers when I’m in a restaurant, fog up my car’s interior when I’m driving and annoy those I’m sitting with on the couch while watching TV. None of those alternatives seem to be attractive (to me).

Yep some bases have 1 small hole and the cyclops slot and some have 1 small hole, 1 medium hole and the cyclops slot.
The tiny hole is tight!
Mine has 4 slots: 1 small hole, 1 medium hole, cyclops slot, and a huge full open slot.
The tiny hole is the best ;)

KFL+ V2 are all I have. I got a bingo on that one & just stick with it.

Check your airholes before you fill that tank!

I actually use both methods at once. I like a tighter draw. I don't do it for any of the reasons you noted. It just happened once I'd been vaping a couple of months. I started out m2l, then started adding a dtl by slipstreaming a little more air around the drip tip as I switch to the full inhale. It gives me great flavor & a cool vape.

That's what I have! Put it on a black MVP, looks fine. I haven't played with the air screws yet, that's next, but that is what I will do!

I did! I put a large hat pin through to keep them open. I did have a few drops seep out of one side
air hole, seems to have stopped for now.
So far I like it! I need to get used to all the ways to put it together, a bit confusing. I used 3mm silica (don't have cotton, never used it), might need to get some cotton to try (play with).

When I build or rewick, I put a few drops of juice on the fresh wick before closing up the chamber, and put one drop on the tip of the chimney to lubricate it going to the top. (If I'm not sure what flavor is going in next, I use unflavored at my normal nic to prime.)

Then, after full assembly, I'll block the air intakes and take a gentle draw. Should be NO airflow. If there's any, check all tubes and o-rings are tight.

Some of mine have the center poly (and some in colors), so I can see my levels. (I don't vape any crackers.) Some have the full, long M5, which makes the KF a bit lighter, and gives a different look. ;)

I only use rayon. Wicks better than cotton, lasts longer. :)

The silica is probably why it's leaking. Good job!

Are there glass parts for these Kayfuns? I do have some tank crackers, don't want to mess this up! And, what about more spare parts like o-rings, tank pieces, screws? I have looked around some but no luck. I'm having fun!
Try Kidney Puncher or Fast tech.

All my +v2's are EHPro & they are great. Not a bad one out of 16.
I love it.......I bought it on the way to work and cleaned and wicked it up between customers. Vapes really nice, the airflow on the V3 Mini is nicer as it has more range but for tootlin the V4 is good and holds a good amount of liquid.

There are some aftermarket "kits" to switch them to glass, as here: $3.03 Kayfun Quartz Tank Kit - stainless steel + glass at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping (and various colors as well).

Yours should have come with a tiny baggie of spares, o-rings and screws. FT may be a source, or as Kenna says, maybe Kidney Puncher.

And you can just use the all stainless config, impervious to the worst crackers. Of course, you then can't see your level...

At the same time, the PMMA the "poly" tubes are made of is pretty good stuff, and may not be an issue. (And FT has lots of those, so you could get some and run a test. $1.87 Replacement Tank Section for Kayfun 3.1 / Kayfun Lite (3 Pieces) 3-pack - ships with one of each color at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Yes the poly tubes are very sturdy and have held up for me even using heavy menthol.

White goes with everything! Vapor Range sells out of the stainless & black quickly, but they've been restocking them.

I've been checking Vapor Range about every day and they seem to be out of most of the rebuildables I'm interested in.

Checked earlier today, and they seem to have black and stainless KFs back. (Well, that was a couple hours ago, so... )
