Haven't washed and juiced it yet, but with the 1 ohm CLR, it has a nice tight draw... close the air control and it's very nice. I like that.

You mean besides expensive? They are a better choice than the regular Nautilus coils, better flavor, more vapor. Come to think of it, maybe you should give the original coils a shot, the claptons could be too much. Kinda like the optrometrist, is this better, or is this better.
I agree it's best to start him out on standard Nautilus coils, he can always try the Claptons later. In fact I didn't like the Claptons l!

<~~ flaming the use of magnets ;)

flame_01_by_lucy_eth_stock.jpg

The magnet on a flat top is a very unsafe practice.
If the magnet gets dislodged from its position from vibration a bump or a drop by about 1mm it becomes the source of a dead short.
A shorted battery enclosed in a metal tube = nothing good, high possibility of ruining the device.
Provape strongly cautioned against this practice.

It wasn't long ago that the mention of using magnets on flat tops would get the post deleted or sent to the Not Advisable sub forum.

Please do not use the magnet trick. If the magnet slips, bad things can happen...

Thanks for the voices of reason @Topwater Elvis and Shawn the H. It is not worth it to use the mags with the associated risks, in my opinion.

Funny, not like I use them with any regularity, but I didn't care for the Clapton coil when I tried it either. I preferred the original Nauti coils.

Some people love them others like the regular coils, so how many times have we seen different tastes on the forum haha :D

eGo One V2 Mega, initial impressions:

- size is good
- simple design is nice
- PIA to clean and dry
- build seems solid
- drip tip a big large ID
- CLR coil seems easy to work with

It's drying for bit before I add juice. More to come.

We will never understand which tank you are talking abount unless you adopt it's unofficial nickname "EggRoll"

I'd take the head or both heads to a auto store. I found oodles of orings(mostly too big or fat) some smaller thin ones that are just nice to have around. They probably got a caliper to measure exactly what you need and if no ring then they might have the hose needed you can maybe do some vape education to the people who are curious to what your doing. I don't know with your revamping the coil but flipping that silicone cap upside down especially if you wicking with cotton will help with juice flow to the wick. That cap is mainly needed for the silica and flavor wicks of the stock head to hold and flatten the silica down so it doesn't leak and the flavor wicks inplace. Using cotton the silicone cap only restricts the juice. Once I began wicking my PT's with cotton then hemp all the caps were flipped in my PT attys.

guys and gals, anyvape.com are having a crazy blowout on their MTL tanks.. I decided not to buy locally as he likely bought in bulk there and is selling them for double. But you have to make an account to see the crazy prices. The nautilus compatible (therefore triton mini and upcoming 0.7 ohm nautilus 2 coil) peakomizer 2 is selling for $7.90, 19mm and 2.5 ml therefore more capacity than a naut mini or triton mini, and the peakomizer 2 mega which is FIVE ml and 22mm, (only blue and red left but will look hot on a silver 22mm mod), for just $8.90! Look I must be fair, that's 12 aud and local store wants 20 aud for the mega and 15 for the standard, so he's not asking a huge amount, but they also have aspire odyssey v2 kits for the most ridiculous price of 29.99 and the odyssey mini kit for 29.99. That's 39 AUD, and to give you some perspective, the triton mini tank alone here costs $35 AUD and the kit at it's cheapest ever was 80 AUD (normally around 99). So basically i'm getting a sweet little 50 watt mod and triton mini for 30 USD. That's crazy. They will sell out fast. The full size odyssey kit includes a triton 2 and 75w pegasus mod (the mini is better as it also does titanium and is in 0.1 increments and 1 degree increments, whereas the pegasus is whole watt increments).. it says it's the upgraded kit which IS a triton 2 but they have the 1 pictured, but regardless, even with a triton 1 (i really think it's the 2), it's beyond a bargain. The triton 2 tank alone here is $45! So i am getting a triton tank for less than they sell here, and a 75 watt mod for free! I've added a bunch of aspire 18650's as they are good batteries, to take the total to free ship price, and a couple other tanks.. they have their version of the aerotank, BUT, it also takes aspire mini bvc coils OR the kanger BDC! (which means you can use VOCC-T coils in it also).
These are all fantastic options for tootle puffing. Even the triton is a great tank for it because the 1.8 coil included is made for tootle.Just put a smaller bore drip tip in it (its 510 compatible) to make it a really excellent tootle, rather than a decent one. Close airflow to small, put in the 1.8 coil, 12 or 13 watts, and vape away.

Thank You Classy :thumb:

Very appropriate sentiments considering it's my 4 month-aversary with my new partner Alison.

She has refreshed me and given me a happy life again after decades of cold loneliness...

This pic was taken about an hour after I dedicated my life to Her while swimming in the ocean at Hervey Bay in Queensland Australia a little while ago.
The water was warm and calm.
The beach was mostly deserted.
The moment was perfect.

She doesn't read these forums, but Happy Valentines Ally
I Will Love You for the rest of my life
