That is absolutely beautiful Krisma!!!:thumbs::thumbs:

Ok I'm going to hide my home made mods now!!

No don't hide yours. Every mod you make is special because .......it's yours and you made it.
I do really love these and use them all the time.

Personal Preference :p

Sorry if somewhat of my posts sound stupid, been sick for a week and it sucks!!

Not at all. I understood. I am just super fussy with weight and balance because I have dodgy hands. its one of the reasons I have so many acrylic tanks. They are feather light. I have some wonderful SS tanks but just can't hold them for any length of time.

I really think that wood box mods are works of art. If I had the tools I wood really enjoy building them. The one I made with the Heartwood box is special to me. I also have these that I bought from RedSkyMods. I would give anything to be able to build something like yours or Cappy's.

Here's my RedSky Cutlass Mod. It is a DNA30 Squonker

This is my RedSky Destroyer it is a DNA40 Tank Mod

They are stunning. I love everything about wood and we have a lot in our house. Most of the timber we use is local limb fall gums and wattles. :p

Those are really nice Wood Box Mods!! I couldn't make them, so I wish I had a Certain 3D Printer to make some of my own lol :D

I know what you mean!!
He makes some great stuff. All different kinds of woods. Thing is he only does it maybe 3-4 times a year or less. You have to watch his thread to see when they will be available on his web site. He also makes some great mod stands too.

Here's his web site link.

That's my point. Rebuilding a Kayfun is much simpler than the tiny coil heads you rebuild.
Not really when you consider rewicking. Plus I recoil or rewick about 10 coils at a time so virtually no downtime or spool of wire and tools required to recoil/rewick a T3.
just keep a small pill bottle with a few coils in my lunch bag. A couple of unicorn bottles of juice a few batteries and I am good to go for quite a while.

Just takes maybe 5 seconds to change a coil/wick when filling the T3.
rewick the used coil at my convenience which is no inconvenience.

I followed the squonker mods thread for ages and came so close to buying a wood squonker because I just loved the look. I had a serious talk to myself and decided I wanted the look without the process of squonking and this is what we came up.

I did as well and I never had the chance to get one as they were always sold out. I came across Cappy's thread searching ECF and was lucky enough to get the squonker. I may be sending it back to him to get swap out the DNA30 with the DNA40 because when it comes to dripping or sqounking the only time I remember to add juice is when my eyes clear from coughing and hacking from a dry hit! I'm a total idiot because I just keep vaping and vaping and then BOOM dry hit. I never learn!

I use a Reo RSM2 and a Chalice clone on it around 1.5 ohm. When I keep the wicks wet it's a great vape.

Why I have decided to not squonk until they come up with auto squonkers. When TC detects coil drying out it operates a little solenoid pump to squirt more juice into the atty. And if after atuo-squonking it does not see the resistance drop it beeps to let you know your juice bottle is empty.

Which is the reason I'm considering switching boards to at least cut down the dry hit.

I get the love of squonking for people but I am quite invested in what I have already and I would be just adding my tanks on top and ignoring the squonking mechanism and the hole in the face of the mod. :p

My vaping is quite simple fill tanks swap in fresh batteries each morning, push button and vape.
Swap coils and cartos alternate weeks and bobs your uncle. :thumb:

I guess I'm a all around vaper. My vaping rotation includes Tanks, RTA's, Rda's, and Carto's. I sqounk, Tootle Puff and Sub ohm. I love building different coils, Micro,Twisted, Clapton, and Fused Clapton. I also Love building mods.
It all depends on the mood I'm in. :D

Usually how my Vaping is, except add some RTA's to it.. But past week iv had no energy and have only used an Aerotank which sucks because I have to fill it around 3 to 4 times a day... Pretty much all my other tanks are taken apart and scattered on a desk because I was cleaning them all last week.. Now when I get some energy, I have a lot of work to do!

I do rebuild my Sophia's but the coils last forever and I am on silica wicks so it's still part of the weekly routine, just rinse, dry burn, rinse and vape.

I do switch all my tanks, provaris and billet boxes around depending what colour I fancy today. :p
