    To each his own! :D

No bubbles busted. Just my preference of what I use and don't. If it works for you that's great.:thumb:

It really isn't a personal preference issue. As technology changes, what is advisable changes. BUT, that does NOT make the older technology bad technology ... it's just outdated.
The Model T was great technology, but I would sure hate driving one on today's freeways.

BTW, my choice is AW IMR batteries. (and yes, they are rewraps)

Which is exactly my point. I try to use what is best, as I understand it, for how and what I vape on. Not looking to get into a pi**ing match. I just stated what I use and what I stay away from. Which is why I said too each his own!

This was what I was answering to is all.
Personally anything with Fire in the name doesn't make me feel safe
I understand not liking the word fire, but it isn't what makes Trustfire batteries a poor choice on today's market. It is in fact one of the best ICR (Lithium Cobalt) batteries available. They work really well in my low output torches that only draw 0.5 amps.

I check his blog all the time! So much great info!! :)
Vapor Flask is coming out with a bunch of new gear, they have a small single 26650 version that looks great but all the high 4000+ mAh 26650's are really only 10A. Buddy from VF recommends a 40A 26650... Where do you get one of those? It's just like the wrong labeling on the 18650's, 26650 batteries labeled as 65A for example are really only 10A or 20A in real life.

So instead of a high mAh 26650 you would be better off with a pair of 18650's in parallel. It would have been better if the new VF's took a LiPo pack.

    VF stuff starts at 13:20

However Mooch told me that folks are using the new HG6 cells at OUTRAGEOUS amperages with seemingly no problems.
And said, that they stayed below 100 degrees at 40 amps.
Sweet, but you really need to know what you are doing when pushing the edge with batteries.

You mean the HB6 1500mAh ones?

    corrected
HG6 is 20a and the charge lasts a week ;)
HB6 is high amp and the charge lasts an hour ;)

Have a few Efest purples as well, and no problems. It's my understanding (aka "it's been said") that they tend to inflate the discharge rate, but I have no proof of that. And since I'm primarily a tootle-puffer, they're still going to be well above my usage needs.
Mooch proves they inflate the safe CDR.

I want the 26650 VF, looks like great ergonomics and I have a bunch of MNKE 26650's that Mooch rated at 25A.

I like that form factor better than the dual 18650.

It is on my xmas list for now.

I use efest batteries. Nothing wrong with them, if you don't try to get more amps out of them than they're capable of providing.

I have some Efest 18500's. A bit under $1 each. Work fine in my Zmax. They just do not seem to be 1100 mah, more like 800 maybe.
