It's how they get all the gear to review... and hence the delays!

Ah, gotcha. I guess that makes sense. No wonder they keep going up on postage, they have to support their vaping habit.

A Sharpie permanent marker wit a bit of cello tape over it.
Cello tape? Wouldn't tape be bad if it gets hot, and the marker will go off after a while? It is also a brown battery, and I don't think my black markers would be very visible [emoji14]

Now I remember, that was a key feature for me not to pick one up when they first came out, the fixed pin...

Yeah, I did consider that.. but I figured, for less than $22.. why not. I've got all these box mods with internal batteries, I figured it was time to start acquiring some that take external batteries.

It also occurred to me that I don't have to remove the atty as often as I used to, when I used Kayfuns and had to remove every time I refilled; and I was trying a bunch of different atties on it, to see how they looked, so I guess one of them just pushed that post down a bit too far. Turned out not to be a huge deal, that post pops up pretty easily.

The only possible thing I can find to gripe about with it is that the fire button is a little hard to find with just your thumb, since it's in a little recessed scoop, but I guess I'm just used to my CF4s, and will get used to it.

I don't think the tape is necessary. White correction fluid for making a background for the date? That might scrape off if you have tight tubes. Otherwise, rewrap the batteries when you get them, and color-code the wraps.

I thought of putting on rewraps, but that would be another purchase and another thing to wait for..

I'm going to try with one of my markers to see if it wears off.

You could rewrap the batteries with clear wraps and write on the battery before you rewrap it?

It does, eventually -- I use Sharpies on both glass and plastic bottles, precisely because although it doesn't "run" with water or PG, it can be removed with a bit of pressure and/or rubbing alcohol. (pressure for glass, alcohol for plastic). But on something smooth and slick like a battery, eventually hand-pressure will remove it.

Box mods like the Kbox mini and isticks with the firing button on the top side are designed to wrap your hand around and pull the "trigger" with your index trigger finger, very comfortable when you get used to it. It took a while to stop trying to find the button with my thumb after using tube style batteries but I like it better now since I dont have to search for the button :)

Nah, no way I can get used to using a finger instead of thumb after nearly 2 yrs of thumb firing. My fingers just aren't that dexterous. But considering that the screen faces you when thumb firing... clearly it's meant to be thumb-fired. The only thing I've ever seen that seemed suited to finger firing is the Provari, since the screen and button aren't on the same side. Which is maybe one reason I never really liked them, since I'm strictly a thumb-firing vaper.

Ahh, I don't like that christmas is coming up, mostly because of gifts. I'm terrible at it, and can't afford to all..

So it's either
1. Not for anyone
2. For someone (would be unfair and all..)
3. Give everyone a bag of twist or something.

And I need to come up with a gift for my girlfriend. Last chance is this saturday. Any tips? As I said, I'm the worst person when it comes to creativity and making gifts.

I can't see the screen firing either way since its facing perpendicular to my face when firing ;) wrap your hand around the mod, let your index finger settle on the button and it's already there, no awkward positioning required - by design. I agree it's hard to change, but only takes a day :)

A sentimental plaque that says something like "Family is always family. Roses come with thorns." And a marriage proposal?

I'm with you Andria - I use my thumb for everything (including my Provari). Anything but the thumb doesn't feel right to me somehow :D

Me too in the thumb Fire, I rest the mod firing button on my thumb and close my hand to fire. Puny fingers :p
