I am so happy that Christmas is still not really about gifts in my country, we have the St Nic festivities for that purpose on the 5th of December. St Nic is too much work already....weeks of shoe-placing beforehand, and yes, those shoes better be stuffed with something in the mornings ;) And the the climax on the 5th of December....every gift has to have a poem about the person who receives the gift and they need to be giftpackaged in a special, creative way. Fortunately, the giver stays (or should stay) anonymous, since all presents come from St Nic. At the end of the evening everybody tries to guess whom they received their gift from. Lots of fun during preparation time , but also a lot of work!

That sounds great. I love Christmas! I used to be one that would go out on Christmas Eve to do all my shopping. I thought that this was the best way. No dwelling on what to get, no worrying about if they will like it or not. I found the best way was to go out and impulse buy. You know it worked out great. Now there are no more little ones to buy for. Living in Florida with all our friends and Family in NY, and the North East, it's just not the same. I miss the Family Gathering on all the Holidays. We buy gifts online and have them sent directly to them. Not even close to being the same as it used to be!

........ I have the same problem with both of my kbox minis I just received. I solved my problem by using SMOK afc's on both of them. I always use those on my mods anyway, so no big deal. I've found them very handy now that I'm using rebuildables, since a lot of those have shorter center pins. That saves me the problem of having to adjust them differently for each of my mods. I think one of Mad Vapes circuit board spacers would also work well.
.
This. I was going to suggest trying the Smok AFC , but hesitated. Glad @Oregon Linda brought it up. I was a little bummed that my (now) aging 9 week old GS air coil in my GS Air M no longer was working on my iTaste VV V3. I couldn't figure out what was going on, since it used to work on there just fine. I finally decided to try the AFC and voila! Now the GS Air M (and elderly coil) work on the VV V3 again!

I know it makes things a bit bulkier...but it works. That is good enough for me. It's not really that much extra weight. Ordered a couple more of the Smoke AFCs today.

Of course, pulling up a bit with a pin works, too. But that seems a little dicey to me, and it appeared I'd have to do it Every. Single. Time. I changed the tank. Ugh.

So to the girls in here. What would you like to recieve as a gift by your boyfriend/husband for christmas? Not expensive.

:)

Vapez
Inexpensive cologne always works for me. Also nice chocolates. A nice plant that flowers is good (if she likes plants and tending them). Even a pretty nightie and robe is nice. And books. Books are good.

Cello tape? Wouldn't tape be bad if it gets hot, and the marker will go off after a while? It is also a brown battery, and I don't think my black markers would be very visible [emoji14]

Vapez
I'm using white electrical tape and a marker on mine.
Just a fly by post, not a good start of the week. :(
So bad I really thought about smoking a cig yesterday, been a long time since that happened.
I just added some WTA to the tank I was using and it passed.
Water Heater decided it was old enough and died, flooded 1/2 the house.
Took out my modem so I am tethered to my phone to post this, won't have a new modem until Friday.
Well anyway, here is what greeted me at 2:30 yesterday when I got home. :(

OMG! Water damage! I hope you can salvage most of it. I'm so sorry! I definitely would have understood if you gave in and smoked, or put a hole through a wall.

That sounds like a lot more fun. I only give gifts to children at this point.

It should be about family, not gifts.

My husbvand asked me this, this very evening. I mentioned a new purse, since I'm always griping about mine not being big enough. Or a gift card from SuperCuts, since I'm desperately in need of a haircut.

Thinking of marking my batteries with date etc, any tips of what to mark with?
Vapez

Vapez, just write on, then cover with tape
sometimes the silver metallic marker is cool
or just : a piece of tape, write on it, then cover it with another piece of tape...

I think I figured out my biggest problem with rebuilding. Proper tools!
Every thing I have is for larger electric repairs. I have got to buy some precision cutters. Even my nail clippers are cheap.

I get about everything done I need with
just toothpicks, tweezers, close cut snips
upload_2015-12-15_20-34-52.png

prefer to ‘snip’ the cotton off (over scissor slice)
toothpick cleans threads, poke o-rings, combs wicks, even wrap coils
tweezers push-pull, pick, lift, hold, disasembly, strum a coil etc…

one thing good about vape tools, you can buy cheap tools cause
not a lot of quality needed for these cheap pieces...

That sounds right up my alley! Fantastic.

Fortunately, my family decided a couple of years back we would no longer exchange gifts. For us it's simply about family spending time together. We gather at my brother's place Christmas Eve, with the entire family...nieces, nephews, great nephews, the works. We order Chinese food so no one has to cook. 20 of us cram into my brother's livingroom and chow down, laugh, have cocktails and enjoy. The nieces and nephews now all grown up, say it's the highlight of the holidays. I feel the same. We've been doing this for about 25 years.

Mom (90!!) told me the other day we have no idea how much it means to her and dad, to spend time with the entire family, listen to us share stories and laugh. It means the same to me.

I feel very lucky.

You ARE lucky. I grew up in a HUGE extended family; my mom had 6 siblings, and I had 10 1st cousins, and every xmas eve,the entire clan got together for a meal and gifts for the kids -- it was the highlight of the whole year. My grandparents have been gone for many years now, and all my mom's sibs but one are gone too; still got all the cousins, but we're all spread out all over ATL and N. Ga, and rarely ever see each other, busy with our own families. Now on xmas day, it's just me and my husband, our son if he's around (he's been out of state for several yrs now), going to my parents, where my aunt Betty will also be visiting. Sometimes some more-distant cousins (grandchildren of my great-aunt) pop in, as they also live near.. but that's it. Time rolls on, loved ones die, and the rest of us get older. :(

Ohh my tools also include Q-tips and regular tooth picks as well. A tiny pair of needle nose pliers, screwdrivers and drill bits to wrap on and of course Weezers.

What.........you put it down

Well, typically about 10 mods ready at all times, with different flavors. I can only hold two at a time!

I have blunted and bent a couple for oring maintenance.

As mentioned, toothpicks, not dental picks. (Although I have the Harbor Freight kit of those as well!

Just a fly by post, not a good start of the week. :(

Dang! Couldn't "like" that post, Burnie. Other than dodging the temptation to smoke! :thumb:

Another advantage to mixing your own - easy to spike when needed!

Okay - "Tootle Puffers" - As I mentioned before ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^

"My" ENDURA T18 Review: Announcing the new Innokin ENDURA!

Really hope people enjoy reading and find it informative too . . .

Very thorough review, Uncle! Easy to read and understand, informative!

Don't get me wrong, I like christmas, spending time with the family and that people care enough about me to give me presents, but I don't really see the point. The christmas present struggle has blown out of proportions. Please tell me I'm not the only one.

You're not the only one!!

You're not older, Andria - you're wiser and know what you want :)

There will come a day when our family Christmas Eves will change shape; the "kids" will splinter off in different directions and mom & dad will (gulp) no longer be with us. Knowing this, I make certain to savour the moments, allow my heart to soak it all in.

I do hope you have a nice holiday season, whatever form it takes.

Cheers, vape sistah!
