Yep. Where can you find fuses?

With a Nemesis, you will probably be happier with magnets in the switch. $2.25 Connection Parts for Kayfun v3.1 RDA & Nemesis Mod at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

And for length adjustments, these are good. $1.08 Round Super Strong Rare-Earth Neodymium NIB Magnets (10-Pack) 10-pack - 5mm*1.5mm / perfect for use on batteries at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping Especially if you have flat-top batteries.

Here's one place and there are many more. They are usually listed in most of the Battery sections or accessories.

But the kick fits with an 18650 battery right? Wouldn't it be okay to use a subtank mini on top then? And what's the worst that could happen with using a subtank mini on top?

18650, 18500/490 and 18350. There may be others but I have only used it with what I've listed.

Is this something I should get for the nemesis?

I know, just wondered if it was space left for 18650 kick. But it would work safely right?

Another thing I like about mechs is that I can easily switch from 18650 to a more stealthier 18350 mode.

You could get a fuse as long as you're not using low ohm builds as it will cut off the battery once you go over 7 Amps. As for the kick and the Nemi. I use one in mine without problems. There should be a kick ring included for using it in 18650 mode

Yeah, the fuse would work great if you wanted to go stealth mode. When you use a kick in 18650 mode, you also use the kick-ring and kick tube. My kicks fit better when I put the kick ring and kick tube between the two long tubes, and the kick in the top long tube. The kick tube seems to have a smaller inside diameter than the long tubes.

So if I've got this right:

- Get the fuse
- Get the kick
- Fit it in 18650 mode and 18350 for stealth
- Use it with my subtank mini's

I'm going to use 1.0-1.8ohm's about, maybe subohm (maybe not on mech) LATER, if I like it then. Didn't earlier, at all.

And this will be "safe"?

I'm just asking and asking to be 100% sure :)

Nothing is 100% safe. Even a regulated mod could malfunction. If your using a mech and you want some safety, then yes. But I can not stress that this is not fool proof and you need to educate yourself with battery usage and safety. There are others in here and the forum with much more knowledge than I will ever know! So don't go on what I say and do your research until you feel comfortable with it. Your teeth will love you for it!!!:p

Thus why I said "safe". There is a risk with everything electrical or which includes batteries and I'm willing to take that chance. But still, I want to be on the safest possible.

I research about battery safety and usage a lot, and I will definetely be a lot more educated about it when I'm going to use it for the first time. It's the TPD20 that is pushing me, so I think that if the smartest would be actually getting the hardware and other stuff FIRST, then learn about it LATER. If it wasn't for TPD20, I'd educate myself a lot more before even buying. You get what I'm saying here, right?

:)

I get you. I just don't want you to go off of my word alone. That's all. ;)

Maybe I should just get protected batteries so I don't have to stress about one extra part. I label all my batteries so that's not a problem.

I have only used IMR batteries in my mechs so I can't advise you on protected batteries

That is easy then, get anything from Provape! I also have complete confidence in the Evolv boards from a safety standpoint. Not what you wanted to hear huh, sorry.

Yeah OK, Ima gunna buy a parachute and learn about it later.
TPD20 is still a few days away, you appear to be hooked on buying "stuff".

Did you ever hear the joke about two bulls looking down on a valley of cows. ;)

YoungBull(YB) Lets run down there and make love to a cow.
OldBull Lets walk down there and make love to all the cows.

Yep it is always fine until it is not fine!

Personally I would not use a kayfun or sub tank on a mech.
The potential for a dead shot is present in both.
The mech must have a center pin and the 510 connecter on the tank connect with that and not the battery top.

The Kick will only fit on an 18650 if you have a mod that has a kick ring -- Chi You I know for sure, and I think some others do too. Otherwise, using a Kick means using an 18490/18500.

Yep which means a max amperage of not over 15.
