Ah ok... my next guess would have been Java -- everytime that stupid thing has to update, I swear it takes half of forever. And that's with a 125mb connection on a dual/virtual-quad i5 -- hate to think how slow it used to be on my lesser computers!

YES, YES, and YES! I've replaced all my bases on my PTs with airflow controllers. It opens them up quite nicely. I prefer the V3 bases (1-5 holes) as opposed to the V1 bases (controlled with a "screw ring" that covers only 3 1mm holes in the base.) Not to mention that the V1s tend to get "rusty" when washed and left to airdry. The V3s look to be brushed stainless?

I have the v1 AFC and went so far as to drill those three holes out (while doing the same with my EVOD tank bases). I just leave it fully open so I don't care if it binds shut like the first AFC base did; I even considered trying to remove the screw ring as well.

OHH!!! Sorry, I had a 'blonde moment' -- and I'm not even a blonde! Actually that truck knocked out the whole cable line -- the wifi from the cablemodem would still have worked fine, it just wasn't carrying any signal.

A true land yacht! They just don't make 'em like that anymore. No really! They don't even build stuff like that. My grandfather had a '72 Pontiac Grand Prix. Not as much of a yacht, but you also don't see cars that big anymore, especially with that much power. He just told them he wanted a big car with the biggest engine available, and the Pontiac dealer showed him the GP with a 427 Super Duty (most of those engines ended up in race cars). A couple of years ago my dad sold it. The buyer only wanted the engine, but my dad told him he would have to take the entire car...

I was born in Vancouver, too! Just not the same Vancouver. When I first applied for a passport, mine took almost a month longer to process than my wife's. Why? Someone saw "Vancouver" as my place of birth, and sent the application to the center that processes passports for dual citizens.

Apparently, they missed the "WA" (Washington State) after "Vancouver".

Speaking of crackers, I wonder what it would be like to Vape using an audio amp and signal...

For a smooth vape, try some Smooth Jazz. I warm up with "The Pink Panther Theme" or "Walk, Don't Run".

I spent much of the weekend trying to get my "Cola Float" ejuice to taste like a cola float. I finally did it. I made a big batch of Vanilla Cream (15% sweet cream, 5% vanilla), and added it to the existing juice. Finally the cola flavor is sharing tongue space with the cream flavor.

So I played with my vanilla cream "add in". Mixed some with some of my Juicy Orange ejuice, and got a nice Creamsicle. Adding a few drops of the cola flavoring to the vanilla cream juice gave me a kind of simulated effervescense. Apparently the brain associates even the slightest amount of cola flavoring with the bubbles. The result tastes very much like cream soda.

This is quite cool. One of my biggest problems adjusting to diabetes was having to give up soda pop. I hate diet soda of any sort. But this gives me not only the flavor, but some of the sensation as well.
