Seriously? If the v2.5 Dragon, button tops only. P3 & Radius can take flats, but everything prior is all buttoned up. ;)

I was pretty sure button tops. I have flattops, so I will have to hunt down batteries too....

Damn 20 years wasted!!:facepalm::lol:
How could ya forget the battery!?!?! lol

I left my VTC Mini with Cubis laying on its side last night, dont think it leaked one drop!
Granted most of my tanks are left on there side but some do leak maybe a couple drops...

I still need a stand so I can leave these box mods standing up without worrying they will fall over.. One with a clear folding top with a lock would be nice lol :)

And RTD Randy is one hellova popular vendor in these parts.

Dings, did you add an extension cap? If so, get yourself some 18650 batts, too. :)

Actually, no real need to email them. Those are the exact batts I use daily in my Provis.

I don think I'll use them with the 18650s. I have a Vamo that I could use in 18350/18650 mode, and I'm not fond of the longer config.... I did think about getting them, but haven't checked out yet.

Yup, he is! Have done a lot of business with him, and he is very straight forward!
The same AW 18490's are for sale on Provape's website, says their not compatible with the "Provari 1" I'm guessing those are long gone? :)
I'm looking at the Provari Classics as-well, love the Flat Top style.

I understand, all too well. I opted for mainly Provari Minis, with extensions, so that I could run them in '490 mode. I never thought I'd like a standard with extension due to the overall height and size.

But I'll tell ya what..... I was INcorrect! For that one little (less than an) inch of difference, you gain SO much more in run time! The '490 batts have 1200 mAh. My 18650s have.... 2900.

Mikey, I love the flats, too. As far as I know, Provape WILL flat them (the 2.5s) on request (extra cost, but pretty minimal). And yes, the P1 is long gone. It seems that the 2.5s may be going away as well.

To me, that is a huge shame as (I believe) they are THE model of Provi that will be in the Hall of Fame some day.

I think the Classic is beautiful, but I couldn't bear that wonky scrolling menu. I love the simplicity of the menu on the 2.5.

So apparently if I spend too much time reading here, I'm gonna wind up spending money on things I don't actually need. Just curious though, for anyone that may want to chime in, and admitting I didn't spend a whole lot of time looking around on their site to compare models. If I were going to buy a Provari, why should I look at anything other than the 2.5?

IMHO, you shouldn't, the 2.5 is a fantastic tootle puffer at a fraction of the price of the other Provaris, doesn't have the awful menu of the Provari 3, or the battery gauge issues of the Radius. Plus the Radius is a bit of a brick, and has power that you might not use, unless you want to sub-ohm.
