Anyone here use Iclear30 dual coil clearos? This place has coils for them for .99 for 3 pack.

While I have recently regularly used a Nautilus tank outfitted with a Vaporshark TC (Ni200) atomizer I tend to steer away from using my Nautilus tanks in this way as the atomizers are just too darned expensive compared to most of my other tanks which are rebuildable.
Today after successfully rebuilding two Atlantis coils (one dressed in Ni the other 28awg Ti) I thought I'd turn my sights on the Nautilus coils - after all I had RBA's for the tanks that used Atlantis coils anyway. I tore one of my clogged/burnt coils apart to see how it went together and then carefully disassembled another cast off. I could see why the VS coils were fairly expensive as stuffing enough Ni200 in there while keeping a nice spaced coil indeed was problematic. I thought - maybe 28awg Ti would work.
I wrapped on a stainless machine screw and hit the coil with a torch so it would keep its shape then carefully wrapped a thin layer of cotton around the coil - to much!! (dang) after some adjustments I was able to get the coil into the center part and then wrap a thin layer of cotton around it and press it into the outside casing. After pressing the assembly back together I stuffed a bit more cotton in from the top just for good measure and added the Aspire screen and primed the coil.
I keep an SMY TC50 on my work bench just for testing coils. I dono why as about 1/2 the time it won't register the tank bottom OR the atomizer installed - I grabbed a trusty SXminiM and mounted the Nautilus bottom+newly rebuilt with Ti atomizer - 0.67 ohms - this will work!
I may of gotten an even higher value (I've recently got 1.0ohm readings on a few recent Ti builds) if I had made the coil longer or used 30 or 32awg Ti but I don't like working with those sizes much.
So my project for the afternoon is finished - reworked one of my classic 'toodle puffing' tanks to a moden TC mode that I can use on two of my mods. I'll even be happier to see that I no longer have 'dry hits' on the Nautilus tanks with Ti like I did with the stock Aspire Kanthal coils.

New to me tootle puffing tanks Aero tank mega 22mm, One set up with the stock coils and one with pro tank 2 single coils, extra top stem seal. Look good on the P3 and vape great good taste. No leaks

While we are doing this. Chinese vendors have a week long holiday at the beginning of October and have mega sales straight after it. Processing might be a bit slow as they pick up the backlog and the postal system is a bit crazy but if you are not in a hurry or use DHL then there are great bargains to be had.
