We're on the FRONT page of the Sunday Tampa Tribune. E-cigs look, act and feel like real ones - but no tobacco smoke Pretty much a positive article with very few errors. Best article yet. The link is just to the story but it is on the Sunday front page.
I did add a comment correcting errors. This is a good day.

Yeah, I read that last night just as it was released. Pretty good article. As time goes along, I think any FDA ban will be harder to do. The word is spreading fast. Even if they manage to close every US Supplier (highly unlikely), you can still buy overseas and chances are good you'll get your package.

So don't worry folks, the FDA ban will only be a small ripple in the tidal wave that the e-cig is making in this country.

Yea - I seem to be noticing a more positive trend to e-cig stories lately - Very much as I expected - This is how the media reveals information these days - First say it is BAD to address those concerns and then show why that stance is wrong - They do it with everything - I'd like to think that our voices have helped in this process - Voices of a positive nature starting to overtake the negative ones - That addict argument is so week - No one ever has a problem with Coffee addicts - Addiction is only a problem if it causes problems and is not handled responsibly - Too much WATER can kill you - someone really should do something to end this addiction we all have to water -

I commented this morning about the tobacco company profiting thing.
Notice how all the a$$hole$ have never smoked and have no idea what a e-cig is? They probably see it on the news and flip the channel cause they think they know it all.

BTW, Just met my folks at Red Lobster, and I love standing outside flaunting my e-cig, and always get people asking me about it and where to buy one. This time 2 people wanted to buy one. So I came home and put an order in cause I know I can sell them. Word of mouth of course.

There was a short clip on Headline news about e cigs the other day, they didnt say they were bad or good really, but had someone demonstrating it on the telly. The one bad thing they did say though was that they cost $200. That would turn a lot of folks away from looking into them.

I just started using them a few weeks ago and love them! Love this forum too even though I mostly just read.

Great story, I got a kick out of the comments. I pulled this one because it shows the mentality of the ...... we're up against:

The artical was pretty good. But the restaurant owner was an idiot! Semi, remind me not to go to her place next time I am home! I will find a nice cafe where all the old guys are smoking foot long cigars!
I can't get over how the sky colored e-cigs managed to get their name in the artical! SE of course because they are in malls.
Just once I wish those reporters would do some research, go on line and find some suppliers..I mean real suppliers!

Great article. It seems to me that ecigs are getting more positive press, too. I'm so proud of everyone from here who put your comments in!! We're getting better at doing that, too.

There are a lot of people who grew up groomed on zero tolerance, and the anti smoking crowd picked it up in earnest.

Ecigs are the perfect compromise,, but the anti's are only interested in condemnation. Gotta love em.

I think the anti-smokers are in a dither because they've always had years of research to back up their position that analogs kill. They have nothing of the sort with ecigs, so they're lashing out like idiots. With these dolts, it stopped being about protecting the rights of nonsmokers a long time ago. This has all been accomplished already with the banning of smoking in all public buildings, bars, restaurants, and the workplace. Now it's simply a matter of them imposing their will on us, and ex-smokers are all to happy to be a member of a club that used to scorn them, so as we see above, we can expect the most rabid posts from these imbeciles.
