I haven't posted to e-cig in quite a long while, being quite satisfied with Kanger's subtank series. I've been out of the loop and don't know if this is already common knowledge.
Today, I discovered with much dismay that isopropyl alcohol dissolves the paint on the interior of both the tank and battery cover. When I say dissolves, I mean strips it completely down to bare metal after a few minutes of contact. The exterior finish seems unaffected, perhaps protected by a matte clearcoat.
Any thoughts on possible health risks of ingesting vape from juice in direct contact with bare aluminum (or whatever potmetal these are made from)?
