Across the street and about one block south from The Local.

Parking is just a bit of an issue, but not more. Street parking is usually easy in my experience, and by 9 or 10 at night there are lots of spaces on the street, especially on a Monday or Tuesday night. Side streets aren't so bad either. It's not on the College strip or in the heart of Queen St. - this is a pretty residential neighbourhood.

I'm still 50/50 on this, but since I was whining about travelling to the GTA one I'll try to make it. This week/weekend is a bit crazy though.

Went to the meet tonight and it was pretty good. Hmmm didn't see you there, Mindfield (or Oliver or Dusty). Not too many people came out due to the long weekend but I think we all had fun (nice meeting you, Oriana). It's quite a groovy bar/restaurant that had some quaint live jazz music. Looking forward to the next one and the next etc.

Sorry I couldn't make it (being the first meet and all), I was at my sisters birthday in Mississauga. I've also got accustomed to making the Honest Lawyer meets and will probably continue to use that as my main vape-meet venue. If I miss the HL one, I may come down to the Toronto one.

I'd love to come to one of these meets one time. I live downtown (bay and bloor area) and I too can't make weekdays, but weekends are perfect. Looking forward to see when the next event is happening.

I certainly enjoyed it - was nice to meet you and Jack as well. Funny how I vape spotted someone at work who turns out to be good friends with Jack - the 2° of Toronto separation has already happened in the vaping world . Great to hang out, looking forward to the next one.

While the turn-out wasn't big, being the first downtown meet and that it was a long weekend, it still went great. It was nice to meet some people and try out different hardware and juices. Hopefully this is another regular meet, in between the GTA meet. Thanks Rob and Jack for finding a place downtown.

If you haven't, look at the Canadian Meets and Events sub-forum. The usual GTA meet is usually on a Tuesday, quite far north of downtown in Richmond Hill. I don't know if the day of the next Toronto meet has been decided yet, but it will be posted there probably a week or two in advance.
