I had a sigelei 13A a while back but ended up selling it. Well I got another one today and the bottom post and firing mechanism are completely different making me wonder if it is a B. The store I got it from swears it is a 13A. The original design, just like the # 8 was great. chrome over brass post with internal spring coming out from the top and the end of the button being metal. This is a copper spring wrapped around black what I hope would be delrin, and a plastic cap on this inside of the button. What?? Anyway, here it is. Can someone please clarify for me? Thanks so so much!

that's the 13 b for sure my buddy has the same one, we are trying to figure out how to mod it and improve on the voltage drop.

Oh no, 13a and b have always been different. I spoke with the vendor and supposedly it is reversible which explains the spring. Says you can unscrew contacts from either head and switch them. I have the 23 which is reversible and the design makes sense, this is silly. Even has a plastic cap over the buttons inside contact. I had a 13a and loved it, shoulda never sold it. Grrr
