Total Noob to all this....

Hello everyone. Total noob to ecig,s. But I am ready to dive in. I ordered 2 EGO kits but I think 1 will be going back. But Im thinking about keeping both just because if they decide to ban them I will have extras. Anyway 1 should be here tomorrow and I cant wait to try it. I have been reading these forums quite a bit. And learned a lot. Im ready to give up the "stinkys". Im sure I will have all kinds of questions. The only part Im having trouble with is the nic level. I have talked to a few people and got different answers, So I got some 11 and 18 to start with so I can find out which will work for me. I smoke Marlboro Ultra lights, about a pack and half a day for over 30 years. Many different kinds of cigs in that time frame. I have to say that I probably started smoking ultra's about 5 years or more. The reds kill me now. Thanks for any response.

As far as Nic goes it seems no-one knows. Some 3 pack a day reds smokers can't handle anything over 8 and some ultra light smokers vape 36 all day long. Statistically you should be good for about 11 mg. And I wouldn't send the spare back yet, you will be wanting those extra batteries and atomizers.

I smoked about 25 a day and would switch back and forth from Ultras and Lights, depending on what was on sale.

I started vaping at 18mg and fell comfortably to 12mg. There are days that I will puff on 24mg if I am starting to have a fit. The hit and the nic level is great if I haven't vaped in a few hours. On a regular day though, I am happy with 12mg.

I smoked for over 40 years and was at 2-3 packs a day when we began vaping. I've always used 24mg without a problem. But, as they say, everyone's different.

For what it is worth, I was a 2-3 pack a day person, started at 24mg Nic and after 3 weeks, starting down to 18mg. It just depends. Higher voltage devices seem to deliver differently. Just something to keep in mind.

Ego is a great kit. Maybe keep one and sell it to the first person who see's that you have quit and want's to try vaping.

The 11 should be best to start with.

For lights about 12mg. is a good starting point. We are all different, depends on how much e-liquid you are using & it's easy to adjust to a higher level like you could easily smoke more some days.

Welcome and yes I to smoked Ultra Lights Marb, and yes also about 1 and 1/2 packs a day....a few more when out on the town...But, I started with 24 mg of nic and it was too much for me...I am now using 10-16 mg nic and using even lower nic 6-8 mg when I vape a lot, like now on the computer...
For me, the higher nic when I first wake up and having my coffee, but lower nic when I vape a lot at one time...Enjoy...
